Sturdy and beautiful--comes fully assembled.
I so pleased with this file cabinet. It's a little big for my small office space, but big is better than too small. It's very heavy, so you need at least one strong man and a dolly to get it in the house and in place. I keep seeing reviews that say it was hard to assemble. Don't know why that mistake, as it is FULLY ASSEMBLED AND READY TO USE OUT OF THE BOX.

Perfect for me!
I really like this lateral file. It did take a while (about 3 hours) to put it together by myself. Once together though, it's exactly as described. It fits perfectly in the space I had set aside for it and holds a ton of paperwork. It's sturdy and well made. The bottoms don't sag from the weight of the files like some cheaper models do. You can place the files either horizontally or vertically. It's also almost even with my desktop so it provides added space for me to spread out my current writing project.

I have purchased about 7 various pieces this Bush Business Furniture in Hansen Cherry. I am a bit neurotic when it comes to office furniture and I wanted something that would last. It had to be able to take the abuse of well….actually using it. I must say that I have been impressed so far. All of the sets came shipped on varying days from different shippers over a one week period. The packing is very impressive. Each piece of wood inside the box is wrapped in foam and/or foam like paper. One box appeared to have taken a beating, but no damage to the items. Several boxes weighed over 120lbs. Assembly varied depending on the item. If it had drawers, it took longer than a desk with two legs. Following the instructions was easy as long as you made sure you chose the correct fasteners for each step. (correct screws) They look very nice with thick laminate and they are extremely sturdy. If you want a commercial grade product at a fair price, look no further.

Took some time to assemble but very nice file cabinet. My suggestion is to use a hand screw driver, take your time assembling and you should have no issues.
