These are great for cleaning my English Setters ears. I do stretch out part of a cotton ball and wrap it around the tip, to add a more robust layer of cotton to it for comfort.I can clean down deep in his ear easily.Note: Do not use in a cat’s ear. Cat ear canals do not have a 90 degree turn in them like dogs do, which protects the ear drum.

These were just what I needed for Sunny. Works great.

I needed something better than regular Q-Tips to help clean my dogs' ears. These are very sturdy and help you hold and guide them precisely where you want them in their ears. I wouldn't recommend these for dogs that can't sit still.

These work well. We bought them to clean our cat's ears. We thought they were the same ones our vet uses (with very large puffy cotton at the end) but they are more like just a little more cottony than a regular Q-Tip. The long, wooden stick if helpful for using on our cat's ears though. Just wished they were more plush to be more gentle. Like them and will use them but not exactly what I was looking for.

I was struggling when it came down to cleaning my dogs ears. I was using regular cotton swabs and cotton balls. These are perfect. They’re long and sturdy enough to reach in there.
