Question?? Can someone tell me how to full the ice maker with water?? I pull it out but throw the water in it, it spill on the floor.

When I first got this LG refrigerator, I liked it,BUT, Now it's costing me a lot more money, because IT'S FREEZING MY PRODUCE,and I have to THROW IT AWAY ! ! ! Which is costing me a FORTUNE ! ! Now I AM SO SORRY I BOUGHT IT ! To make matters worse,this so called wonderful company ( I mean that sarcastically ) Has not fixed the problem yet AND they WON'T REFUND ME for ALL the WASTED FOOD I HAD TO THROW AWAY since last Oct. of 24. If there was a way I could get rid of this food freezing machine I WOULD !!! But now I'm stuck with it,and I am going to do everything I can to make them fix it and pay me for ALL the FOOD I've had to throw in the GARBAGE ! ! I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this LG refrigerator. So much for LG being a great company, that's a JOKE ! ! ! Do NOT BUY THIS

The refrigerator itself is fine and I am happy with it, however it was damaged (cosmetic) on delivery. The company advised that I can accept it as is, and they will file a claim and I would get a discount. This is the route I took as again, the damage was cosmetic. After delivery, I was told I would be called within 48 hours to discuss the discount amount. I received no such call. I called them ultimately and was told to handle it through Amazon. Ended up getting a $75 refund.

Fridge looks Amazing, it huge! It'll hold all my groceries. Great buy, couldnt find fridge anywhere..so once I found it.. I purchased it..good value

Finally bought a new french door fridge. I went with the LG brand as I have heard they are a good brand and last. My previous fridge was a side by side and a Maytag, but it junked out on me. This model has it says a dual ice maker, but it is really just the icemaker in the door and you can dump the ice in the door manually into the tray for ice in the top freezer under it. There is a second freezer as well under it. The bottom one is bigger. The fridge part is massive! It has so much more room than my old one. I also like how it is open all on top and there is no divider as found in the side by side models and the fridge part is eye level and I do not have to lean down to get things out of the fridge. Really makes you think why no one invented these french door fridges sooner! The water filter for it I noticed is rather pricey, that is one concern about it I have had. I may see if I can just take it out later, as that was what I did with my Maytag and never had any problems being on city water. A nice feature with this is the ice cubes are smaller than the only type, which I also really like. It also has wifi so you can connect it to your phone to see the temperature, but it is more a fun feature than having any real benefit as far as I can tell. It has a quick ice feature to make ice faster if you are having company come and turn it on a day prior, so it makes ice faster to start to fill the lower tray manually by unloading the ice from the top tray as it is made. However, I would just go buy a bag of ice for a few dollars for that, as the water filter on these is expensive and I suspect that just buying bags of ice for parties would be more cost effective as well as easier to do. There is also a shelf that will slide in when you open the doors, so if you have something taller you can put it in the fridge. The doors have space to store items as well on the insides. The left side will only old small things like a bottle of ketchup. The right side can holder larger things like a gallon of milk. There is a fruit and veggie drawer, although you can set them to either. Both can be fruit or veggie, or swap them at any time. Under it is a small long storage drawer as well for smaller snack items.

I’m very disappointed in this LG refrigerator. After 1 year the ice maker is broken and I will be out hundreds to fix it or I’m left to go buy a better refrigerator. I would advise against buying this refrigerator.

These were put together with knowingly malfunctioning compressors. Just google “lg linear compressor.” You’ll be replacing it within five years.
