Real batana oil
Only seller that seems to have actual batana oil with no fillers. Not a fan of the smell but it’s not overwhelming either, not as strong smelling as Jamaican black castor oil. Smell doesn’t last on the scalp in my opinion, I have type 4 hair. But anyways… it smells burnt, kinda like coffee but kinda like a cigarette that has been put out sitting in an ashtray. The texture is soft/smooth, u don’t have to go digging in it as if it’s a firm butter. Don’t use too much if u get build up easily, you’ll be left with a greasy scalp! Since it is a thick butter, U have to find ways to incorporate batana oil into YOUR hair routine if u have low porosity hair. (Just Google it)

Great for dry ends
Beautiful texture and scent that melts into dry ends and moisturizes dry scalp. I’ve never gotten so many compliments since I began using it and my hair has gotten so long. I towel dry after washing and put some on my ends while my hair is still wet. After drying it’s so shiny and soft

The real deal!
So happy I found this product! My sister-in-law lived in Honduras and raves about how Batana oil is the best to keep your hair and scalp healthy. It’s been hard to find except on Amazon and she warned me that a lot of the products there are fake or at least not made like the batana oil in Honduras. This one has the rich color and slightly Smokey scent which she said to look for. I’ve been using to oil my scalp and hair at night, then washing out in the morning. Just once a week for now. It’s too thick to leave in during the day. My husband doesn’t love the smell, but I kind of like it. Regardless, I also wouldn’t want the scent on me during the day. But that’s just me. My SIL has really curly hair that gets dry and frizzy. She likes to use it during the day too. She said all her friends in Honduras use it this way — and in their elbows and hands too, to keep them moisturized.

Not worth the buy
Not worth it. The price you pay for this very very small container is insane. I think social media hyped up this product because I used it for one month & it did absolutely nothing but make me smell like coffee beans all day.
