Just writing to say that this is a great radio, especially for the price. I use it in a rural area while working outside to listen to sports and news on particular radio stations that are not nearby. Before this radio, I had tried a lot of other radios (some were small vintage Sony radios I ordered online that cost twice as much or more than this radio), but none worked as well as my car radios in receiving the stations I was most interested in. When one of my vintage Sony radios broke, I ordered this radio (along with another radio) from Amazon to try. When I received it, the great reception of this radio was unexpected -- I have to say this radio has phenomenal reception that is much better than the other small radios, and that rivals or exceeds the car radios and other larger "plug-in" radios I have. I think sound quality is above average for its size, and the battery life has been great. You can read about its other features in the description, but I will tell you these features are all pretty self-explanatory to operate and work great. There is also a "lock" button on the side that you can use to keep the settings from changing in your pocket while you work (or whatever). Based on the price and my good experience with it, I ordered several more (to use as backups and as a gift). Highly recommended!

Excellent, easy to use, tunes in stations well - has pushbutton for 5 AM and 5 FM stations. Sound quality and volume very good.. Pricing excellent for phone of this quality.

Nice little radio, good reception. I like being able to set stations. Only con I’ve found so far; you have to reset the clock every time you change the batteries. So I wish it was a chargeable product with a charging cable.

This small AM/FM radio is ideal for someone who listens regularly to five stations on either band without having to scan each band to find your favorite stations. The presets are simple to set and clearly identified, as is the volume control. The clock, sleep function and alarm settings are easy to set and with a backlight are ideal for 24 hour viewing. I use rechargeable AA batteries which are far more economical the regular alkaline ones, and I give this great sounding little radio more than five stars as it beats my C-crane pocket radio on all counts for a quarter of the price.

Didn't work. The coils to hold the (not included) batteries were smashed flat so the batteries couldn't make a connection. SO disappointed. Already returned. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

My daughter is at the age where she's getting into music listening. We wanted to get her something that worked with an without headphones, digital, and worked extremely rural. And the Runingbyte radio fit that perfectly. Its pocket sized and fits all of her bags, the reception is amazing for the area. Its tunning accuracy is exact, and picks up all local stations great. The speaker has pretty decent sound quality, and the option for wired headphone is a great addition. It has enough presets to cover all her stations and a nice wrist lanyard for carring it around. The radio is durable enough to hold up to a 6 year old, and the price is perfect for a radio she will be running around with. It does come with more features than we use. An alarm clock, sleep timer, and AM options are also included in the radio.

great little portable radio, good sound and reception on fm bands. i don't use am bands any more.

Best 20 bucks you can spend. Great little radio. Perfect for travelling. Easy to use, even the alarm function. Sound is great and oneloop batteries last for hours and hours.
