Essential and useful item
These are great, useful for many items. We have them stuck to our shop counter for walking sticks etc while people are paying. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before you stick them on

Wall Mount
The Duncurins have an outside step at the front and back doors. Every once in a while one of us goes out there, braving the elements, to brush and mop said steps. We tend to leave a couple of old mops outside for this purpose and Im not sure Mrs D would want these mops in the kitchen. To this end they tend to get scattered down the side of the house and tend to get more and more dirty. Duncurin struck on the idea of using these wall-mounted utensil clips to retain the mops, keep them off the floor and stop them from blowing about the garden when it gets windy. I choose these clips as I wanted to mount them at my required spacing on a piece of wood. They come with a double sided sticky backing plate which fits the ‘plate’ of each clip and then can be applied to your board or whatever. Duncurin didnt want to trust their staying power and thus drilled a couple of tiny holes and used some small screws to further secure each plate to the backing board. The other point is that although the assembly has some protection from the elements it still lives outside and Duncurin is hoping that the clips and mechanism does not rust too soon. I’m hoping that their stainless steel construction will help with this but the plates are thin - time will tell. The whole thing came together nicely and a couple of Rawl plugs and the board complete with clips is now wall mounted down the side of the house. The mops clip to this nicely and re retained out of harm’s way. As an added bonus Duncurin found that the hooks on each of the plates will retain some car-washing mittens, brush (as previously reviewed) and even the empty bucket. I only used three of the clips but in restrospect I’m sorry that I didnt use all four and also that I didnt make the backing board longer so as to retain more of the things that I suddenly have thought of. That’s life, i guess.

Tool holder
Great little holders for mops and brushes in the kitchen and for holding tools in the shed

Rubbish! They don’t stick!
Absolute rubbish! I bought these, as I didn’t want to screw holes in the wall. I only needed one, but it’s a pack of four. Used it for my broom in my pet grooming spa. It lasted one day, fell off the wall and ripped the paint off. I used the other three to hold plugs and their wires to keep them tidy. They too fell off the wall. I’ve used replacement sticky pads. The plugs hold, but the broom doesn’t. Absolute waste of money and time.

Inconsistent glue backing
The one in my shed has fallen off the wall. Can I drill a new hole in it to screw it in place, can I eck like! The one I put up in the house is holding fine. Would really benefit from a few screw holes for those of us who don't fancy hanging stuff solely with the glue backing.

Excellent for average thickness handles
Really sturdy / holds the tools well / keeps the cupboard tidy

Don't waste your money
Appear to be good quality but I put two up, one holding a mop, the other a broom. Both haven't lasted a week. The metal doesn't stay stuck to the backing.
