Tiny Mic But Huge Upgrade for Videos
I got this mainly for recording videos for social media and family videos, and it honestly made a much bigger difference than I expected. I had just been using my phone microphone before, but this immediately made everything sound more clear and professional. I love how tiny and lightweight the mic is. It clips on easily and doesnโt feel bulky or distracting while recording. The charging case is also really convenient and reminds me a lot of wireless earbuds since everything stores and charges together neatly. The audio quality sounded noticeably cleaner to me, especially outside or in rooms with background noise. I also liked not having to stay super close to my phone while recording. My only issue honestly is just keeping up with something this small. If youโre forgetful like me, make sure you put it back in the case after using it because Iโve already temporarily lost it in my house a few times. Tiny gadgets tend to disappear into another dimension around here. Overall though this has been a really nice upgrade and Iโm very happy with it.

Tiny, powerful, and perfect for the iPhone 16 Pro Ma
Iโve been looking for a way to level up the audio on my iPhone 16 Pro Max without carrying around a bunch of bulky gear, and this BOYA mini 2 is exactly what I was hoping for. It is incredibly "cute" and tiny. Itโs honestly one of the smallest mics Iโve ever seen so it doesn't look distracting or heavy when it's clipped onto my shirt. The setup is as simple as it gets. I just plug the USB-C receiver into my phone and itโs ready to go. I really like the charging case. Itโs compact enough to toss in my bag and it uses magnets to keep the pieces secure. The sound quality is a huge step up from the built-in phone mic. My voice comes through very crisp and clear, and the noise cancellation does a great job of filtering out background hums without making me sound like a robot. I did download the app, which is a nice touch if you want to tweak the EQ or the gain levels, though it can be a little laggy to connect sometimes. One thing to keep in mind is the fit of the receiverโฆif you use a really thick, heavy-duty protective case on your phone, you might have to make sure it's seated all the way in to get a solid connection. Overall, for such a small and discreet device, the performance is impressive. Itโs reliable, easy to use, and makes my videos sound professional without any of the extra hassle.

Buyer beware
The receiver never activated, despite all the troubleshooting steps I took. Should have known it was a risk, given how cheap it is. Will be returning it for a full refund and buying a higher quality mic. Buyer beware.

Top notch lavalier microphone for any device, wireless and portable with range.
This is a high quality microphone from Boya. It comes equipped with one microphone in the package that I chose, and a receiver. The sound quality is impeccable, even before turning the app on, but once you use the app, it even gets better. It clips right onto your shirt, you can barely notice it, especially if you're wearing a jacket, and as far as the microphone functions and the distance that it travels, it goes pretty far and it sounds very good. It's hard to mess up the microphone quality. It picks it up and it filters. It weighs virtually nothing, it's small as can be, I mean, you could lose it, definitely, but the portability factor for it... there's nothing better I can think of, especially not for the money. I mean, this is a super value device nowadays at the price it's rated at. It does absolutely. I would need a wireless microphone to do. You can even use an OTG cable if you want to use it with another device such as a DSLR.

All Around Good Mic
I am totally impressed with this wireless lavalier microphone. It was pretty much plug & play as it came fully charged and is pre-paired right out of the box. The receiver that plugs into my phone is smaller than what I've used in the past which I like. It decreases the opportunity of it getting hit or accidentally knocked around. That is what happened to my old one. It got hit or snagged on often enough that eventually the contacts came loose and it basically shorted it out. I also like the small mic. It again is smaller than what I've used in the past. It does a great job of audio capture when placing on my shirt. The clip is a bit small to clip to my ball cap, but from my shirt works fine. When paired successfully, you'll see a blue light on both the receiver and the mic. To activate noise reduction, press the button on the bottom of the receiver. To mute the mic, press the button on the bottom of the receiver twice. The one issue (small) that I do have with this mic is with its size. I actually had an issue getting the receiver and mic out of the charging case. This was further complicated by the fact that they are held in place via a magnet. I like the fact that the case is responsible for charging the receiver and the mic. That requires only one item to be charged, instead of both the receiver and mic. The charging case takes a USB-C plug with a USB-A plug to the power source. Very impressed with this small mic. I have recorded several short videos, and the sound has been great. I highly recommend.

Single lavalier microphone with receiver and charging case
The title is misleading, and might make you think that there are two wireless lavaliers, but do not be fooled. This kit comes with a microphone and receiver, as well as the charging case. The charging case comes with a spot for a second wireless leveler mic to go. Overall it was very easy to set up, and I found the sound quality to be exceptional. Still very pleased even though there is only one microphone.

Impressive mini wireless lavalier microphone
I was first surprised by the compact form factor for this mini wireless lavalier microphone. It is even smaller than the Apple AirPod pro! The small size is geat as it is not as noticeable when clipping on to the speaker. Even with the compact form factor, the wireless mic works great. The transmitter and receiver connects quickly without needing to look for bluetooth device on my iPhone. I'm impressed with the clear recording voice using the noise-cancellation mode, there's not much post production changes I need to adjust afterwards. To use the noise cancellation, just hold and press the button on the receiver, the light will change from blue to green. I also tested the mic when moving away from the transmitter into different rooms around my house and still recording well without losing connections along the way. Overall great compact mic that I carry in my bag all the time!

Tolles Mikro
Zuhause, braucht man eigentlich keine Rauschunterdrรผckung.

Sound very good outdoors and in noisy environments
The wireless microphone came in a compact, nicely branded box. It looked good when it arrived to me. After I opened the box, I saw that the charging case for the microphone was well protected inside the box, with a plastic nest all around it. It arrived to me safely and in perfect condition. The case for the microphones looked like a typical charging case for wireless earbuds (but there was a microphone inside). The case felt okay when I held in my hand, it did not feel flimsy and the plastic did not feel cheap. After testing the microphone, I can say that I am very happy with it and how it performed. Here are some more details about what I think. The audio is pretty good for a lavalier microphone. It sounded pretty crisp, yet it was cutting most of the background noise from the environment around me (even without turning noise suppression mode). It sounded like I am very close to it. It picks voices well even when talking quietly. I really like how it sounded, and I have tested a lot of lavalier microphones. I also have a wired lavalier microphone from Boya, and this one doesnโt sound worse than it (even though that it is wireless). I am impressed by how it performed, at this price point. I am giving it 4.7 stars.

Small and very good quality mic
Having reviewed a fair number of small microphones, I have been very impressed with the performance and sound quality of the BOYA mini 2 mic. It's small, very easy to use, and provides a good bump in sound quality over the built-in microphone on my iPhone. The first thing to note is that this mic comes with only a USB-C receiver, meaning if you have an iPhone model that came out before the 15, you won't be able to use it. There are other versions of the BOYA mini 2 that come with a lightning adaptor, so investigate those instead of this one. I tested this mic with my iPhone 16 Pro and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I simply connected the receiver to my iPhone's USB-C port, powered on the mic and it was ready to go. It was literally a 20-second process so it's extremely easy to use. The sound quality is very good, and a marked improvement to the iPhone 16 Pro's built-in microphone. I noticed the difference especially in environments that have a lot of ambient noise like a busy street, as well as in large, echo-prone spaces. The mic does a very good job of isolating voice and pushing other sounds to the background. I tried it both clipped to my jacket as well as holding it in my hand and it performed equally well in both circumstances. Be sure to test it out a few times before recording video with it because depending on your body placement will be different for every user. The case that holds the mic is similar in size to any wireless ear buds, so carrying it around isn't really an issue. The case charges the microphone and because the receiver gets port from your phone there is no charging needed for it. The case can recharge the microphone many times, and so you'll always have a powered up mic whenever you need it. This is one of the better cost-to-value microphones I have reviewed. It produces very good sound quality for a price that is not too expensive. I can recommend this mic for amateur creators or anyone who just wants a little extra good quality sound to the videos they record on their phones.

Pro Level Audio Features, Compact & Lightweight Lavalier Microphone for iOS or Android
The BOYA mini 2 is the latest wireless lavalier microphone from BOYA, and I have to say, they have raised the bar for wireless lavaliers. Besides being affordably priced, the 24-bit/48kHz audio has excellent clarity with a stable wireless signal as well. Build quality is also excellent, with a durable matte black plastic build, which I prefer over the glossy plastics. This single wireless lavalier microphone set is perfect for the solo vlogger and content creator and is compatible with both iOS and Android phones or tablets that utilize a USB-C port for the wireless dongle. The lavalier microphone is very, very compact, lightweight and one of the smallest I've used for review. While not required, I do recommend installing the BOYA Central App for iOS or Android so you have access to EQ, Firmware Updates and additional audio settings like the safety track option, which I haven't seen at this price point previously and is very much a pro audio option. The AI noise cancellation isn't a gimmick and works very well in mixed audio environments, so worth enabling and I was quite impressed by the quality of the audio signal, which BOYA states is stable up to 328ft with a line of sight to the USB-C receiver. Conservatively, I was able to get several hundred feet away with no dropouts, and if you are working solo, I doubt you are going to leave your phone or tablet 300ft away ;) Overall, if you are a solo content creator or vlogger, I think this single wireless lavalier set from BOYA is worth your consideration. The audio quality is excellent, it is easy to set up and operate, and the free BOYA Central App offers a ton of user customization without being overly complicated. A recommended buy based on my experience using the BOYA mini 2 for review, and I should note that BOYA offers kits with dual-lavalier microphones as well.
