There are A LOT of choices on Amazon…After purchasing a different company’s 10’ black railing (similar to this) at less than half the cost because the pictures, description and mixed reviews made it still seem like a good buy we immediately regretted it. Cheap finish coming off, cheap steel, useless screws, horrible design with fixed positions/mounting points that didn’t line up with any standard 2x4 framing making a nightmare install when first attempted…returned the next day.We immediately bought THIS PRODUCT which we should’ve stuck to first at a premium price, but the build quality, ease of install (with basic construction/tool knowledge) and awesome design allowing you to choose where the support brackets go based on 2x4 location made this an outstanding product. Very nice, better finish with rounded smooth ends, a textured grip that goes back into the under channel after install (requires cutting to fit between brackets per instructions) for a nice high quality feel above and below. Our 10’ unit came in two pieces which went together very easily. Because our house is very old and who knows what’s behind our staircase wall for framing, you’ll see in picture there’s a big gap where there were no 2x4 studs, which is why the mounting brackets are more spaced out instead of aesthetically balanced. Still looks great, you get what you pay for!

Super affordable railing that looks great and pretty easy so install! We have no hand rail from the foyer when we moved in. This fits perfectly and is sturdy enough for where we placed it.

This is a sturdy and well built stair handrail. Installed over a wood wall which made it easy with no screw anchors needed. Only 4 stars because the metal finish was noticeably scratched right out of the box. I filled in the scratches with black felt tip pen, not the best camouflage but better than the more noticeable scratches without it.

I recently purchased the 12FT Black Iron Stair Railing for my indoor staircase, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the product. It has truly transformed the look of my finished basement. The installation process was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. All necessary hardware was included, and the pre-drilled holes aligned perfectly, making the setup hassle-free. Took less then 20 minutes to install. The black iron finish adds a modern industrial touch to my finished basement. The railing seems very durable and sturdy. Very happy with my purchase.

Looks great on the wall and is of a sturdy metal material. It’s a contemporary look and goes well with the “urban farmhouse” look we are going with. I do recommend getting some better wall anchors as the ones given in the package are cheep and pushed right through the wall. Anchors are inexpensive and well worth to make sure the railing holds up overtime.

The anchors are a terrible design. When installing they do not catch.
