Large 8 Inch Commercial Quality Melamine Windproof Ashtray - White

I purchased this ash tray to replace an open one i had on my apartment balcony. It definitely keeps more of the ash inside, and prevents most of it from blowing around. However, after little usage, ash will build up on the outside as well. The hole for dropping ashes at the center is small. The smaller holes ringing the ashtray are great for putting out cigarettes, though they tend to clog.It's very easy to clean, and will definitely bring a problem with ash in windy places under control, or at least significantly improve it.

I have been looking for this product for several years. I have three others that are over 20 years old. This is the best outdoor ashtray I've found. Be careful when emptying. Do not tap it against a hard surface. Just wipe out with a paper towel and/or place in the dishwasher. It is, after all, a plastic product and is not indestructible. Take care of it and it will last for many years to come.

It is a safe way to put out tobacco products but it is a little hard to take off and replace top. Also if it is outside the wind will blow the ashes off the top.

Its being years since I have them and they're just like new!

This ashtray works very well for outside patio use. It is non breakable and easy to clean. Plus, the lid prevents ashes blowing all over.
