Essie Nail Care, To The Rescue, UV Gel Damage Repair Nail Treatment

Omg!! This is the 5th nail strengthening polish I have tried, including premium very expensive brands that salons sell. They were all rubbish. THIS ONE IS FANTASTIC!! It covered my dry split nails, tears, and is a true nude so doesn’t take long to apply. It illuminates too and actually looks like I’ve been to the salon whereas before I’d have to wait weeks for regrowing before I’d be proud of my nails again after gel removal. I am so over the moon with this product. Also the brush makes for easy application and liquid consistency is perfect. Doesn’t take too long to dry either. Thank you Essie!

My daughter put me onto Essie and I love their nails care and varnish. I also bought the ballet shoes colour which is beautiful. I struggle putting nail varnish on usually as I make a mess but found this much easier than usual and am delighted with the result. Will only buy Essie now and would thoroughly recommend.

Goes on really nice, and covers my nail ridges making them smooth It’s quite thick and takes a while to dry However, I’ve noticed that it peels off after a few days I’m undecided whether it’s good or not to be honest, if you don’t mind redoing your nails every few days it’s fine, but don’t expect it to last

Only used for a week so far. It's a really ugly colour that applies in a very patchy way. I decided to wear it with a coat of a pink shimmer over the top to disguise it a bit. It did make a positive difference to my nails after a week so I have reapplied it and put a different colour over the top this time. I wouldn't wear this alone as it's not flattering for my skin tone and it's very patchy despite me floating the polish on the nails.

Having used a much more expensive nail strengthener (over £25 per bottle) I found this Essie Treatment for weak and damaged nails did the job very well. I was quite impressed with the hard wearing formula and how it performed under my nail varnish. My nails look so much longer. My unvarnished nails are stll very soft so it did not actually strengthen them per se but under nail varnisha and a top coat it performed very well.

After a few years of using gel and uv lamps I suddenly became uv sensitive. My nails actually looked worse then in the picture, deep purple burns, no density to the nail, damaged split layers, they were absolutely disgusting and I thought I had ruined them for good. My daughter found Essie to the rescue UV gel repair. So I purchased this at the end of September 2025. It definitely took a while but as the nails grew, the new nail was thick and healthy looking. Once the regrowth reached the end if the nail bed, I actually had healthy looking nails. It is now end of March 2026 and my nails are getting much longer and are tough, this is the picture taken today. This product actually works, it stays fresh looking for over a week and doesn't chip, but stays and keeps the nails protected whilst they grow. Absolutely amazing and very highly recommend.

I don’t know how I have survived without this before my discovery of its existence! It acts like builder gel but without being a gel and therefore, no need for the UV lamp which really damages my nails. So I get all the benefits of the strength of a builder gel, without the cons. It’s a lot thicker than most varnishes but this is to be expected based on its purpose. Apply it quickly and in 2 thin as you can layers to get the best application. The colour is beautiful & I sometimes wear it alone as a pinkish nude. Make sure you apply direct to the nail so it can work its magic in repairing any damage - honestly, give it a go; you won’t be disappointed!

Awful product. Thick and gloopy so difficult to “apply a thin coat” as the instructions suggest. Looks awful after second coat, patchy and horrible. Peels off after a few hours. I can’t see how this is going to help my nails at all given that it won’t stay on. Don’t waste your money!!

Dries very quickly, goes on with ease, and has a beautiful opaque pink coloring. My nails feel super strong💪

Been using this for about 3 weeks and it has helped with the top layer of my nail separating. Not strengthening my nails so far. I’m 57 so Essi, please make a naim care varnish with estrogen in it. Women on the menopause journey need estrogen

Ich hatte zuvor künstliche Fingernägel und nach dem Entfernen waren meine natürlichen Nägel extrem geschädigt – mit deutlichen Rillen und starken Unebenheiten. Deshalb war ich auf der Suche nach einem Produkt, das die Oberfläche ausgleicht, Rillen auffüllt und meine Nägel schützt, bis sie sich wieder erholt haben. Ich habe mich für den essie Good As New Nail Perfector entschieden und bin bisher wirklich begeistert. Der Lack lässt sich sehr gut auftragen, trocknet schnell und bereits zwei Schichten haben gereicht, um die Unebenheiten deutlich zu kaschieren. Zur reparierenden Wirkung kann ich nach der kurzen Anwendung zwar noch nichts sagen, aber als Rillenfüller funktioniert er hervorragend. Auch die Lieferung erfolgte wie angegeben und ohne Probleme. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Der Lack trocknet matt ab und sieht solo nicht besonders schön aus. Für ein komplett deckendes Ergebnis wären wahrscheinlich noch eine oder zwei weitere Schichten nötig gewesen. Ich nutze ihn daher als Unterlack und habe ihn mit einem rosafarbenen Glitzerlack kombiniert – das Ergebnis ist viel besser geworden, als ich erwartet hatte. Fazit: Für geschädigte, unebene Nägel ist dieses Produkt eine super Wahl. Trotz des matten Finishs eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
