Non Toxic Shoe & Boot Protector Spray, Water & Stain Repellent, 24 oz

I don’t usually ever write reviews ( I know everyone says that but it’s true). Had to write one for this product because I am thoroughly impressed at how well this worked. I purchased this product to use on a brand new dining sets’ chairs. They’re pretty bulky and of cloth. I wanted something to protect my investment against spills/ stains and I was browsing for some time before settling on this product. Packaging was well and secure with no leakage. I was able to use a whole bottle ( bought the bigger bottle for upholstery) to completely drench and cover six bulky dining chairs with some product still left over. I was scared to test it and be disappointed so I honestly didn’t test this until about almost a whole month after my purchase. To my surprise this stuff actually works so beautifully and now I’m no longer worried about spills around the dining table. Might have to use this on the rug underneath but that’s a whole undertaking. If you’re looking to protect your home investments, I would absolutely recommend this product! It was the first time I’ve tried any type of water repellant/ stain guard product and I’m sticking to this product forever.

Needs about 3-4 layers. I have a cream denim jacket and wine spilled on the inside pocket. Only a little tiny bit could be seen on the other side. AMAZING! I washed it and it all disappeared like it was never there . I couldn't believe my eyes . No scent. Easy to spray. Used on suede shoes also. No stain yet and wore them and the outfit in New York .

I really like this spray it was easy to apply and dried quickly it help protect my furniture from water and stains which is very helpful especially with kids and pets at home.

I applied RepelWell Apparel Protect Stain & Water Repellent Spray twice on several shirts, waiting a full day between applications. After allowing it to cure, I simulated light rain with a gentle shower the next day. Some dampness still soaked through to the other side of the fabric—less effective than some older, less eco-friendly sprays I’ve tried. Maybe an application from the inside of the shirt could help? Even so, I think it deserves four stars for being gentle on skin and environmentally safe while still offering a decent level of protection based on the two applications.

I bought this to protect some new dining room chairs that were light in color. One bottle was plenty to spray 8 chair seats (2 coats). The first spray came out as a spurt but the rest of the spray was a fine mist. It would have been much easier to evenly apply if it had been aerosol, and easier on the hands too! There was no odor, and no change in fabric color. It did take a few hours to dry and I eventually got out my hair dryer to speed up the process. I checked the next day and poured a bit of water on the chairs. It literally beaded up and rolled off the chairs. No one has spilled anything of color on the chairs so I can’t speak to how well it will protect against red wine, coffee, spaghetti sauce, etc. But since it did such a great job of repelling liquid, I assume it will offer at least some protection.

2 bottles to do 1 recliner. Sprayer leaks. Drops several drops with each spray. Adjusted and readjusted the sprayer. BOTH SPRAYERS HAD SAME ISSUE. VERY DISSATISFIED!!! May be a great waterproofing but cost was outrageous and drops still show a week after.

Used the entire bottle on my cotton/bamboo bedding and full disclosure, I had treated this same bedding using ProtectMe: a different brand that advertises the same claims as this one. The water slightly beaded but I’m unsure if it’s because by this point it’s nearly 3 layers and two full bottles of different products, or if this product does work better than the other. The problem? Water still soaks through. I’m not sure if my bedding is a special fabric that makes it harder to treat or if this product doesn’t work well, but for the amount of product that is needed to treat just the top of my bedding (I didn’t even try the other side), I’m kind of tired of trying. This feels very expensive for a possibly temporary solution. Positive: this came with a safety seal unlike the ProtectMe spray. The bottle was easy to use, and I didn’t notice any damage to my fabric. I’m unsure if I’ll purchase again.

I used Scotchgard for years but recently decided to try something different because I didn't feel like it was working as well as it once had. After doing some research, I chose this product - and I'm so glad I did! It has exceeded my expectations. Now, anything that could potentially get stained gets treated. I even mark items after spraying them so I know they've been protected - clothing gets marked on the tag, and I find another discreet way to mark items that don't have one. This product has saved me from numerous stains, making it well worth the investment. It's definitely one of those items I'll keep on Subscribe & Save so I never run out.

I’ve sprayed my shearling boots, according to the instructions on the bottle), and I’m amazed at how well water, snow and ice are repelled. No salt stains either. Note I always clean the salt off my boots immediately, so little chance of the the salt ruining my footwear. Highly recommend this product.
