Total crap!
THIS IS NOT WOOL! DO NOT BUY! I just spent 2 hours working with it trying to get it to wet felt. It doesn’t felt. I’m exhausted and frustrated and incredibly disappointed. I needed this to complete some projects for an upcoming craft fair. This is cheap synthetic material of some sort.

Nice batting
This batting is high quality. It has a nice loft and is completely clean with no debris and seems to be very even with no thin spots. It would be amazing to use in a quilt. However, at my exuberance to grab the batting that popped up on the vine page, I didn't notice the size prior to ordering. I imagine someone out there has a use for batting that is only 11" wide, but I unfortunately don't. I will likely end up using it for a needle felting project at some point down the road.

Great for machine embroidered trapunto
I have been wanting to try a trapunto embroidery design for some time now. I used this high loft batting to make a sample coaster (6"x6") to see if I'd like the results. Trapunto is a quilting technique, also known as "stuffed work," that creates a raised, three-dimensional effect by adding extra stuffing or batting to specific areas of a quilt. I machine embroidered the coaster and LOVE the results! The hearts are nice and puffy. I used a thin cotton batting under the complete design and added this thicker wool batting to the center. I would love to make a pillow or quilt one day using this technique. I highly recommend this batting when using a trapunto design for great loft and results.

Thin and smooth wool felt batting
Reviewing piqoeei Wool Felt,Needle Felting, Wet Felting, Wool Felt Fabric,Wool Quilt Batting,Natural Ecru Color,19 Micron,Extra Fine Pre Felt Fabric for Craft and Wearable Arts I got this smaller sample size to make quilted Christmas ornaments. It's a thin and smooth batting that is perfect for small projects like this. I find it a little thin for quilts, and it felts even more when washed. For a wool batt, it's a fair price.
