The white plastic case dented, the metal cover mangled, the speaker popped out, and the plastic ring that latches the back cover broken out. However, if one can somehow just hold the battery inside, the AirTag still works! No longer waterproof, but technically 100% functional.This product is the perfect solution for an AirTag that no longer holds its 2032 battery securely in place because of broken plastic or a damaged cover. The working half of the AirTag is easily secured into this battery case, and I can salvage a cosmetically damaged AirTag, which now works while all unsightly dents and marks are permanently hidden away.
