An absolutely superb product. It looks great, it doesn't take up much space, it has a useful non-slip base, and the pestle has enough weight to deal with even hard and resistant spices, such as star anise - and it even comes with a handy lid to stop bits flying out of the mortar bowl. And being stainless steel, it is very hygienic and very easy to clean and dry.

This set is small smart and looks awesome on our worktop. It does the job. Good quality buy. I recommend this product from this seller.

This is sturdy and the lid stops tablets being thrown from the mortar whilst crushing. These parts are excellent. Was disappointed that the stainless steel bowl has many grooves (from being milled I expect)….my tablet dust got stuck in these grooves, but after experimenting I realised that with the stiff small brush provided I could sweep out the remaining tablet dust into my medicine cup. So I’m very pleased. It washes and dries quickly. Much better than my old method of tablet crushing. Seems good value

Solidly built, weighty and stable, easy to clean.

Does exactly as you would imagine, perfect size for crushing mustard seeds etc.It is quite heavy but that’s a bonus as paired with the non slip pad on the bottom it helps to keep it in place whilst using.Nifty little topper that slides over the top to stop whatever you’re grinding from escaping.Lovely feel I. Your hands and easy to clean afterwards!

Great product, a bit heavy but then it is metal. The cover is a great idea to prevent splashing. Works really well on nuts, herbs, spices

Great little pestle and mortar , much lighter than the granite one I had. Easy to use and to wash. Not suitable for grinding large amounts but just right for herbs etc.

I will admit to having concerns as some people appear to have been let down. However, It arrived in good time, No faults anywhere. I wiped down all over really well beforehand as I need this to crush medication. It went into a powder faster and was much smoother than my old one. The brush was an odd shape, It looks like the bristles had been sitting crooked to one side and refused to straighten. It turned out that it actually helped. It gave me more control of the powder I was "sweeping" if you get me. So, 5 stars from me, I wish I had bought this one ages ago and not the flashy marble one I've been using.

A première vue, excellente qualité d'inox pour cet ensemble mortier/pilon.C'est bien de l'inox en tout cas : passage au lave-vaisselle du mortier : malgré l'attaque des produits de lavage, la chaleur de l'eau et du séchage, il est ressorti intact, pas un seul pic de rouille. Je n'y ai pas passé le mortier car il dispose d'une rondelle amortisseur qui n'aurait pas apprécié la blagounette je pense ...Le poids est bien présent, donc très stable et performant.Le petit couvercle percé en caoutchouc est très pratique : il ne s'emboîte pas, mais se pose simplement et tient par un rebord intérieur : judicieux car manipulable d'une seule main tout en étant efficace.Je verrai la résistance à plus long terme, mais à première vue pas d'inquiétude à avoir.

Ho utilizzato per anni mortai e pestelli in legno (bellissimi ma trattengono gli odori...) o in porcellana (eleganti e comodi ma fragili) e finalmente sono approdato a questo modello in acciaio inox, che si rivela subito per come appare: estremamente comodo ed igienico e sostanzialmente "immortale".Ci si può pestare e schiacciare d tutto, dalle erbe aromatiche (basilico, prezzemolo, ecc.) alle mandorle o nocciole.Per i prodotti secchi, che, come le mandorle, durante la frantumazione possono produrre "schegge", il coperchio in dotazione si rivela utilissimo: riesce benissimo a tenere tutto all'interno del mortaio.Con questo mortaio sono perfino riuscito ad ottenere del sale finissimo a partire da sale grosso senza il rischio di danneggiare il mortaio.Non essenziale ma certamente comoda la base d'appoggio in una sorta di gomma siliconica antiscivolo, che aiuta certamente a tener fermo il mortaio durante l'uso.La pulizia di questo acciaio inox, come era prevedibile, è estremamente semplice ed efficace, anche senza il supporto dello spazzolino in dotazione; nei casi più difficili (come quando si pestano spezie resinose) si può sempre far ricorso ad una spugnetta metallica fine senza temere di fare danni.In sintesi: in famiglia siamo tutti entusiasti di questo comodissimo "attrezzo" di cucina (e non solo).Prezzo assolutamente conveniente.

Mortier de cuisine pesant son poids, muni d’un antidérapant à la base. Finition inox de qualité permettant à la fois de récupérer tout le produit du broyage et un nettoyage facile. Le tout sous un format très acceptable pour les placards familiaux.
