Skippy Super Chunk Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter has confirmed what I’ve always known: crunchy peanut butter is the only way to go, everything else is just peanut-flavored regret. I opened the jar and immediately knew this wasn’t here to play. This stuff is loaded, less “spread” and more “peanut obstacle course.” Every bite is a perfect mix of creamy and crunch, like it refuses to let your taste buds get bored for even a second. The flavor is top-tier, rich, salty, and dangerously addictive. Smooth peanut butter could never. That’s not peanut butter, that’s peanut sauce pretending to be relevant. Only downside? Spreading it can feel like patching drywall. The chunks don’t cooperate, they demand respect. But once it’s on the bread, it’s game over. Final verdict: crunchy peanut butter supremacy confirmed. Everything else is pointless.

I live with a Skippy Super Chunk addict. Had no idea how bad it was until I mistakenly came home with a jar of creamy style peanut butter. "I just want you to know, that every time I open that jar, its like you care nothing for me." Jeepers! It's only peanut butter! Well, apparently not. Amazon's Prime Pantry has a decent price, so I guess I'm out of the doghouse. To be honest, it is indeed a good, fresh tasting peanut butter. And Super Chunk is super chunky.

Love the taste. It doesen't seperate out as quickly as to peanut butters. I remember my mom would buy this brand. If you like peanut butter that is chunky you'll love this.

I always buy this, but i never get any. It doesn't seem to matter how much of this super chunk peanut butter I buy, my guys always eat it up on crackers before I ever know the jar has been opened. I don't care to bake bars or cakes with this particular kind, because the nuts always sort of sink to the bottom of any batter, but it is ok for cookies, if you like peanuts in your cookies. Generally I buy the smooth to cook with and the crunchy for my guys. They love this on just plain saltines or graham crackers. They also prefer it for P&J sandwiches. I don't- I don't find it as easy to spread, but it is just a matter of personal preference.

IMO, Skippy Super Chunk is the BEST peanut butter made. I know, it's all a matter of taste, but this is my favorite. I can buy it from my local stores, all of them carry it. But they ONLY carry it in these small containers, and it is expensive, over $4 per container. Here it is well under $3. By buying enough at once, I saved a lot of money, even with shipping. I could have purchased it from Amazon in larger containers, but I worked out the price per ounce and it comes out about the same per ounce, and I figured several small containers would remain fresher than a few large containers, as only one is open at a time.
