At this price you cannot go wrong.
Bought this for my elderly mother who whilst nearly 80, is still quite proficient at using some tech. Firstly i will say i use a flagship phone with flagship specs, so this is below what i am used to using when i was going through the motions of testing it out and helping her set it up - With that in mind i will offer a review based on my expectations which were very low. Upon opening the box, i found the phone to be of a good quality, it felt nice in my hand and did not feel like an entry level phone at all. Setup was straight forward with no issues, and the display was actually quite surprising to me. It felt crisp and quite vibrant to my eyes. There was no input lag from the screen keyboard and pages scrolled perhaps a little slower than a high end flagship but we were talking milliseconds no longer - really not an issue. Sound was sufficient for a phone at this level, and whilst sounding pretty clean and good enough for the majority of people i found this my only real gripe with the phone - its good, but not amazing. There is plenty of storage for the average user at 126gb and the app store as you would expect offers a full feature of apps for this android. Camera wise the photos taken in daylight are surprisingly ok, but videos are a little washed out - but again its an entry level phone and fine for the majority of people. Low light photos and videos are lacking sometime but at this price you cant have everything perfect. It does feel very durable and the battery lasts all day and more so all in all i would say if you are in the market for a cheap new phone, its actually great value for money and recommended at this price.

Déjà détenteur d'un Oppo A9 2020, j'ai décidé de conserver cette marque dont je suis satisfait. Le 40 est un bel objet, fin et élégant par rapport à l'ancien phone , je regrette que la touche empreinte digitale soit sur le coté au lieu du dos comme précédemment c'est moins pratique. Bien qu'il se charge beaucoup plus vite que l'ancien phone, il se décharge aussi beaucoup plus vite. android 14 est très réactif, mais de nombreuses applis ( inutiles pour moi) se chargent automatiquement, il faut un temps fou pour les supprimer ou désactiver. ausssi les applis phone et messages sont désormais celles de google, donc très intrusives et moins souple ( je ne peux plus sélectionner plusieurs messages d'une conversation pour suppression, mais une par une ou toutes d 'un coup. par contre il y a une alerte en cas de spams et pareil pour les appels.
