I am pleased with my purchase . And saving so much money while getting good hair care at the same time . My hair is doing so much better since my using the Steamer, I recommend this to everyone . And the versatility of this cause it’s also for steaming face . Very easy to put together and put down and store in the original package. Lightweight and not easy to break. The 3 in 1 multifunction steamer works very well for 2 of the 3 uses. It is a great hair steamer and would do the job as a small space humidifier; however, as a facial steamer, it functions but the position that you would have to be in is too awkward to really be effective. I will focus this review on what it did well and lessons learned. I read reviews that this product was dead on arrival, and I initially thought that mine was as well when I followed the instructions; however, the manual says after about 5 minutes the steam will start but actually it was about 20 minutes the first time I used it that the steam began. It was warm to the touch after about 5 minutes and appeared to be boiling, but the steam did not emerge until about the 20 minute mark. Once it started, it continued for over 30 minutes before having to refill the water basin. As other users mentioned, the hood is not adjustable, so you will have to position yourself correctly to get the best results.

Long Review: I don't usually write long reviews, but I wanted to encourage someone that may be like myself where reviews really help to make a decision on an important purchase. I am African American with very thick, natural hair. It is a blessing and can also be a task to keep the moisture in it. With that being said, after watching several YouTube videos, I found out that my hair is "low porosity". It takes forever to dry, like 2-3 days sometimes. Thick products and products in general can be very difficult to absorb in my hair, making it very prone to dryness. Therefore, I began to search for something that would help my hair stop being so dry. My hair has been dry for awhile now, but after finding out that a steamer can be very helpful for low porosity hair - I decided to give this a try. After applying a deep conditioner, plastic cap, and sitting under the steamer for no longer than 20 minutes - my hair has never felt or looked so moisturized. I have noticed growth as well, as I've been wearing mostly protective hairstyles. Once I rinse the deep conditioner out, I apply the LCO (leave-in, cream, oil/grease) method. This works better for my thick, coarse hair. And, I noticed the lighter the product the better. If you're on the fence about purchasing a steamer, let me encourage you to do it. Your hair will thank you for it! It's made a difference in my haircare regimen. Hope this helps someone.

This hair steamer is awesome! My hair's so hydrated and moisturized, I'm stoked I got it – no more salon trips! What a great investment.

I have had this product for awhile and I would say that is an okay steamer but I did notice that it did not steam the back of my hair to good and also I do not like steamers that do no have the removable cup/tank because you always have to be careful that mold does not set in because you cannot detach the cup/tank also drying the tank takes a while, so it is a inconvience you have to leave it out for days for it to dry and it also does not have a timer

This is perfect for my and my husband’s hair. The product functions as intended, definitely worth the buy. The size is good and doesn’t take a lot of space for storage.

So I have been using this steamer for about 2 months now. I use the face steamer 1x everyweek and for my hair 1x biweekly. I love it! I was hesitant to buy it because of other reviews but I have had no issues. I do not find the face steamer awkward to use. This steamer gets VERY HOT which i love. My hair is noticeably healthier because I use it. I defintely got my monies worth. I would highly recommend this product! The only downside I have is not being able to open it up and clean it but I try my best to clean it based on the instructions inside. Edit: So it's 3 years later and I still use this steamer. It helped grow my hair alot and its very healthy. I steam on average atleast one time per week.
