Kitchen Game-Changer: Stylish and Durable
I am absolutely thrilled with the Nuovva Enamelled Cast Iron Dutch Oven! From the moment it arrived, it has completely transformed my cooking. The 5-quart size is perfect—generous enough for family meals, yet not unwieldy. The enamelled finish is not only stunning in that vibrant red, but it also makes cleaning a breeze. I’ve used it for everything from slow-braised stews to roasting vegetables, baking bread, and even making casseroles—and it excels every time. Heat distribution is superb; nothing burns or sticks, and the lid seals in moisture beautifully, leaving dishes tender and full of flavour. Oven-safe up to 500°F, it’s versatile for both stovetop and oven cooking. It’s also incredibly durable—I can tell this is a piece that will last for decades if cared for properly. Stylish, functional, and a joy to use, the Nuovva Dutch Oven is worth every penny. Cooking in it feels like a real upgrade to your kitchen arsenal. Highly, highly recommended!

Love this!
Really lovely and cost effective! Has a far higher heat point than others I looked at. This size is great for making stews and casseroles for 2-4 people, which is ideal for what I need. Seems very solid and hard wearing and of good quality material. Cleans very well - I usually put in a warmed oven to dry after washing to ensure it is dry and to avoid rusting.

Take the chance, it's worth it.
I was worried I'd burn stuff to bottom and ruin it straight away. I was worried it'd rust or be chipped. But I've been really happy with this purchase :) It helped to read some Google summaries on looking after cast iron. I rinse it last and wash it up first, oil the black rim, then warm it on the hob to dry. I'm so surprised it's worked like it's supposed to! Nothing has stuck, it's even better than non-stick. I warm it on the lowest heat until the handles are warm, then brown any meat. The meat actually browns, instead of boiling in the excess water from my supermarket cuts. All the tasty brown bits do actually come off later in the cooking process. Overall, it's inspired an enjoyment of cooking and experimenting. As a guy, it feels like finally having the proper/quality tool for the job. I highly recommend giving this brand a chance, it's hundreds of pounds less than an the big names.

This Casserole Has Replaced My Frying Pan!
I bought this casserole dish when I saw an MSN article saying it was on offer on Amazon and an influencer recommended it - I didn't buy it on the strength of an influencer's say-so, by the way! Now I do have another casserole dish. I've had it for years and it's mostly been great (it was given to me years ago and structurally there's nothing wrong with it, it's just not as big as I'd like and sometimes the sauce inside overflows in the oven), so I decided to get this dish for a few reasons. Firstly, it's about double the size of my existing casserole dish, so there's plenty of room in it for whatever I'm cooking. Secondly, because it's enamelled cast iron, I can use it on the hob when I need to pre-cook things - for example, sealing chicken breasts before transferring to the oven and then put it straight into the oven to finish cooking. Thirdly, it cleans up really easily afterwards - I've only had one occasion where I needed a bit more elbow grease than usual to clean it up and that was because I added a fair bit of Balsamic vinegar into my cooking, and lastly, I was able to choose a colour that went with our kitchen (the dark blue one). I would say you can't go far wrong if you decide to buy this casserole dish, but you do have to treat it with respect and this is because the lip of the dish and lid are NOT enamelled. This means that if you leave it to soak overnight or don't dry it up as soon as you've washed it you could run the risk of rusting setting in, which will ruin it. There's an instruction booklet that comes with the dish and that's explained in there and I've seen a few reviews where people have given it a low star rating because they've said it's gone rusty, but I think that could be because they didn't read the instructions and treat it with proper care - if you feel you need to soak it please do be super careful to NOT leave it overnight and DON'T leave it to air-dry after washing up - I dry mine mine with kitchen roll (it's a me thing. I can't stand tea towels), making sure it's bone-dry and that there's no possible shredded bits of kitchen roll left on it, so there's no chance any dampness can be left on it. I love the size of this dish as well. Since buying and starting to use it there have been no instances of overboiling in the oven and I really can't recommend it enough, because if something is stopping us having to clean the oven because nothing bubbles over to dirty it, it can only be good, can't it? I cook for two of us, so the portion sizes I make are fine. Another thing I have to add here is that it has a fair bit of heft behind it and you could easily use it for home workouts if you don't have a barbell! Just don't do that with your food inside it!

Looks good. Works well. Good size. Only downside is it’s not very ‘non-stick’

Lovely Dutch Oven
I’m replacing my old pots and pans as they were looking a little tired after many yrs of use. I have bought dutch ovens recently and found them to be wonderful to cook in. I bought this smaller size in teal (as i have bigger sizes already), this dutch oven did not fail to meet my expectations. Due to the enamel, it’s non-stick and very easy to clean. The only negative point i would say is the weight but that’s not the seller’s fault as all dutch ovens are quite heavy but the heat distribution is excellent, the food somehow tastes better in a dutch oven. Nuovvu pans are very good and this seller was also good as the item reached me at a reasonable time, in good condition and the colour is delightful. The price was reasonable at the time so I’ve already bought another for my sister-in-law for her birthday, in blue

Ottimo acquisto
Questa pentola mi è piaciuta tantissimo. Stufati e ragù spettacolari! Il colore sfumato dello smalto è vivido e brillante. L'interno smaltato è da trattare con cura. Ottimo acquisto.

Temperature LOWER than expected! 😠
One thing positive to say about the Dutch Oven is the rich colour. It's stunning, and the pot is heavy. Is it worth it?? No. A few side complaints about this product is the lid is not a snuggle fit, there is a wobble to it. Then I read the instruction booklet and that's when my smile disappeared. In Australia's cooking terms, it seems we cannot go past 200 Celsius. On your page it states 500 Fahrenheit (260 Celsius) well that's a lie to consumers to buy it! It brought it to bake sourdough bread and 200 Celsius is too low of a temp. It also states you can not heat it without nothing in it! Again, to all artisanal bread makers 'STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY' and the shipping price is crazy. You're better off buying yourself a ceramic baking dish.
