Nutri-Vet Nutri Vet 70283-3 Wounds Spray for Cats - 4 oz

I found this spray to be a highly effective and easy-to-use product for caring for small wounds on my pet. Its spray application allows for thorough coverage of the affected area without causing any discomfort; I noticed that it helps keep the wound clean and protected, thereby promoting a faster recovery. Furthermore, it helps combat bacteria and soothe irritation—benefits that are evident in the improvement of the skin within just a few days. An excellent product—highly recommended!

Goodness only knows what's in it, but my cats open wound healed practically overnight. Fantastic stuff

Excellent. By this I mean as an OTC basic, overall "wound" spray. You CAN USE it on dogs as well. I used it on my Senior Maltese (still do for a small, but manageable wound on his tail from biting - he's since stopped) and it's clearing nicely. I INITIALLY PURCHASED this for my Cat, Sabrin, a Tuxedo. She had developed some type of alergic reaction from an insect bite. She started chewing and actually pulled out a small, but approximate Dollar coin sized amount of fur and had a bald spot. Yes. She kept licking. Then it scabed over and she was trying to pull at that and bite at it. This all happened very quickly. Long story short, I purchased a soft cone for her and this product. Well, she somehow got the cone off; each time. My husband and I would spray her little wound (by now it was very red and her scab was half off and a little tiny bit of blood was there). She let me wipe that spot gently. We then used the spray. Even one hit of the spray (as close as about five inches helps, but cats hate any spraying noise and "off they go!"). It WAS a bit of a little game for me and my husband to slightly sneak and spray Sabrina. After two or three sprays in a few days will do WONDERS. Depending on the severity of course, most minor and manageable wounds can heal with this product within a few days to a week or slightly longer. And with each spray you will see improvements. The only thing is the sprayer is tough to spray. Especially with antsy, nervous and cautious cats. Sounds familiar? Lol.. My Maltese was fine. But try and put anything near his face. He'll turn into Cujo...but I love him!

Because this is a spray, cats tend to run from sprays. It's best to spray on your hand and then apply. I bring my cats into my TINY bathroom when I need to cut claws, clean ears, tending to wounds, etc. I giggle and tell them they are my captive prisoner after I close the door. I think it helps alot because when your cat gets fussy, you can release them until they calm down and then proceed. I don't let my cats out of my bathroom until I have completed my mission. Even my "shithead" has learned to accept that he won't leave till mommy is done. Haha. It helps to give them treats after I'm done. This way they know after I'm done, they will get something the love.
