Absolutely terrible. I thought Philips was a decent name brand. Thought it would be a good middle of the road earbud. I was WRONG. Do not sit in ear sturdy, they just barely hold in your ears. It says it has 14 hours of charge HAHAA, I use one earbud and it dies in 4 hours. I've charged the little charger box. I've had them maybe 5 days now I do not recommend anyone to buy these. Time for me to search for a different pair.

I’ve never seen a pair of earbuds shaped like this without the tips, so I was interested right away. The sound isn’t going to blow anyone away, but they’re just as good as most headphones 3x the price. They have a soft shell so they’re very comfortable and they stay put in my ears. This may vary depending on the size/shape of your ears. I barely feel them. The app is a necessity, once I set up the “custom” eq (I just maxed everything out to get the loudest sound) I was more than happy with the performance and I don’t have to crank them all the way up. They can connect to more than one device so you don’t have to disconnect and reconnect all the time. Also, there was a software update right out of the box, which is a good sign. I always trust anything Phillips makes, but electronics like this can be tricky. The case is TINY so use a lanyard and attach them to something if possible. Incredible headphones, better than anything in this range.

I love the compact size, design, keychain loop but had two issues. It's not very small. It does have flatter, lower profile but still bulky and not very comfortable to wear. But the worst thing is that the volume is way too low. It already has a disadvantage for not having the typical in-ear silicone piece to increase the tight seal, but the not having the open driver port and silicone socks that covers it make it even worse. I get drawned by the street noise and other ambient sounds. It's unusable unless you're in a quiet library. I would've kept it if it was louder.

Didn't fit my ear holes properly, but audio quality is standard, app is standard, like they work for commuting and stuff, don't expect premium exp. Just standard.

I left the review below after sleeping with these 1 night because I slept the entire night, they stayed in my ears and my ears didn't hurt. However the headphones will not charge or disconnect from bluetooth when putting them in the case without trying repeatedly to get the case to recognize the headphones are inside. I have to open the case and move them a little, close it again to see if they disconnect and charge, if not, try again.. Kind of a bummer. This was my review before I discovered the above problem: Ive not left a review on over 200 Amazon purchases. One night of sleep with these and I had to review them with the hope that it helps someone else looking for headphones to sleep in. This review is on the Philips TAT2159 without tips, if they change the model they are selling on this listing this review would not apply. So make sure they are still selling the TAT2159 if this review helps you make a decision on that particular model. I have bought 5 different pairs of headphones that were made to sleep in. I was disappointed with all of them. I had given up and started searching just for in-ear headphones that looked small enough to side sleep in. That's when I ran across these. I could not find even 1 review on Amazon or anywhere online at all on them before I bought them but they looked perfect in the pictures. So! Now that I have them I am super happy with them. They are low profile enough to side sleep in. I used one of the rubber covers and they don't even fall out of my ear. In order to sleep in these, download the Philips headphone app. Go to settings. Turn off touch control. ALSO! I've never had a pair of headphones that could turn the volume down so low!!!! These are absolutely a dream to sleep in which makes the value of these far beyond their purchase price.
