​I recently purchased the JossaColar Heat Powered Stove Fan, and I am very pleased with the results. While these are often advertised for wood stoves, I decided to try it on my kerosene heater, and it works flawlessly. ​Here are the highlights from my experience: ​Silent Operation: This fan is genuinely silent. You don't hear a hum or a whir, which is great for keeping the room peaceful. ​Airflow: Despite being silent, it moves a decent amount of air. It really helps push the heat out into the room instead of letting it all rise straight to the ceiling. ​Included Accessories: The magnetic temperature gauge that came with the fan worked great and is a very useful tool to have included in the box. ​Overall, this is a solid product that does exactly what it promises. If you are looking to get better heat circulation from your heater, whether wood or kerosene, I highly recommend this.

If you expect a strong wind out of this fan, this isn't what you are looking for. But, if you want a gentle breeze that stirs the air and moves it towards you, this is a dandy little unit. We keep our home pretty cool during the winter and augment the heat in our living room with a Kerosene heater. The metal cage on top did not conduct enough heat into the base of the fan, so we simply placed it inside a metal 8x8 baking pan and voila! Worked like a charm. The pan catches the heat from the space heater and conducts it evenly to the fan base where it is hot enough now to activate the fan. From five feet away we can just barely feel air movement, but the room overall feels much more evenly heated and is exactly what we were looking for. I recommend this little unit for moderately sized rooms.

This fan works very well and moves a fair amount of air, especially for being completely heat powered. It starts up quickly once the stove warms up and runs quietly with no noticeable noise. It definitely helps circulate heat more evenly through the room. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone using a wood stove or fireplace.

This little wood stove fan has BIG power to move the heated air! We are completely satisfied with how well it works. Highly recommended. So quiet, spins fast, definitely worth the money! To be completely honest when it arrived I thought there is no way this little fan can move the heated air around. I’m happy to say I was wrong. It is a fantastic furnace fan. The fast that it works so well with out being plugged in still blows my mind.

I bought two of these. Gave one to my neighbor and it works fine as it should and the other (mine) died in less than two weeks. I couldn't return it because I got pissed and stomped it into the ground. It's been five weeks and my neighbor's is still going strong and he loves it. Since I stomped mine into the ground, I couldn't return it. CanMine Direct(who sold this Jossacolar fan) reached out to me and offered to refund me for the awful experience and also offered to send me a new version when they come in. I was shocked that they did this and am impressed that a company would stand so firmly by their products. Obviously you are very safe doing business with CanMine Direct and I applaud that they value the customers experience and happiness over profit. They did refund me!! WELL DONE!!!! New update on CanMine and their fan. CanMine sent me a new fan and base over two weeks ago. The base is a terrific addition to the fan because it makes it easier to place fan on heater, makes it level, and seems to dissipate the heat better. The weather here has been 12 degrees for lows and 24 degrees for highs. I live in a 5th wheel so heating is an issue since my built-in heater no longer works. My house shoes were actually frozen solid to the floor the first day. I now rely on a Mr. Heater Buddy and this fan/base combo. I decided to give it the full blown test and run it for a week. It has performed spectacularly with no issues at all. The fan base makes it super simple to place and adjust fan for different directions and makes the fan level instead of pointing downward. The base also makes the heat coming from the heater itself stable. I have seen fans like this fail because of too much heat from heater hitting the bottom of the fan. You can place the temperature probe flat right behind the fan on the base and get an accurate reading. My temps stay around 550 degrees. If you bump fan hard, it will just shift or fall over without bending the blades which is another plus. The older version was locked into place so the fan could bend or be damaged from force. The fan pushes massive amounts of heat around the room so everything is toasty. You do have to give the propane heat a break occasionally to get rid of the moisture buildup on the RV windows. Overall, CanMine has stepped up and made a horrible experience with the original fan into a spectacular and solid experience...WELL DONE CanMine and Thank You for a great product!

Wood stoves are great at heating but they create a local source of heat. One side of the room could be hot, but the other barely warm. So there is a need to circulate air to equalize temperature across the room. This little device is a solution. It uses Seebeck effect to produce electricity which drives the fan. No external sources of energy are required. Fans are not very strong, so using several at the same time makes sense. I had two other stove fans before purchasing this one. I did not regret my choice. It is well built and runs quietly. Interestingly it is always the first one to start when the stove begins to heat up. Recommended.

I was skeptical but I figured for the price I'd give it a try for my wood-burning stove. It's just enough of a fan to get the warm air moving which is EXACTLY what it is designed to do. It makes a noticeable difference to me. It works so good that I bought a second one for my office propane stove. It looks good, is silent, and it actually keeps spinning long after the fire is out.

Really happy with this stove fan. I wasn’t sure how much difference it would actually make, but I was pleasantly surprised. It starts spinning on its own once the stove gets warm and is completely silent—you honestly forget it’s there. The heat definitely spreads around the room better, so it feels warmer more quickly and more evenly, instead of all the heat just staying near the stove. It also feels well built and sturdy, not flimsy at all. I love that it doesn’t need batteries or electricity—just place it on the stove and it does its job. Simple, effective, and well worth it if you use a wood burner regularly. Would happily recommend it.

The fan itself is a high quality well built unit that I could recommend, however only 1 star as the unit did not come with pictured bracket for Mr Heater - instead it was supplied with an inferior quality aluminium plate that does not suit Mr Heater grille - there’s no way this supplied aluminium plate could work with Mr Heater so product not as advertised.

(150 C) fue subiendo y se sostuvo a los 300 C ya en posición MD del "Mr Heater", casi en el límite entre la zona naranja (recomendada) y la zona roja. El sonido emitido por las aspas es mínimo. Muy buen servicio y producto.
