Good Bargain
It is definitely thin--you can see the pattern on the next layer underneath when it's folded. If I bought a sheet and it was this thin I would send it back. However, it is perfect for our purposes. My daughter does not like a top sheet and she ends up sleeping directly in contact with her comforter. With this duvet I can easily wash it compared to washing a whole comforter. Plus, since it's so lightweight, it doesn't add to the weight of the comforter. We already have a flannel duvet for winter. This one will be for the shoulder seasons. Her comforter is a deep purple print and I was concerned that it would show through this thin cover. We bought the purple duvet but the background is white. Amazingly, her comforter does not show through. It probably adds a slight purple hue but since everything is purple-hued anyway it is not at all noticeable. Be advised, if your comforter is red and white awning stripes, it is going to show through and not look good.We will see how this holds up. My daughter is taking it for her dorm room. It will be way easier for her to wash compared to finding a big washer to wash a comforter. Even if we only get a year of use out of this, for twenty dollars I'll be happy.I prewashed it and it came out fine. All the seams have overlock stitching on the edges and the placket has quite a few buttons. I think it's a great deal.UPDATE: My daughter said this did not stay put on her comforter, kept bunching up. She switched to using a top sheet between her comforter and herself and I brought this duvet home.I took away a star. I am not sure how much the issue is my daughter, how much is the duvet, and how much is the comforter she placed inside, so I am giving the duvet the benefit of the doubt.

Gorgeous Print & Amazingly SOFT!
This has got to be the SOFTEST fabric I've ever felt. Seriously.I kind of thought that Microfiber would be like those kitchen towels that are fairly thick and are supposed to absorb...but this Duvet Cover is like a VERY thin Cotton that is the softest material I've ever felt.I got it because it's really pretty and came at a great price, and I was going to use over a comforter that got a little bleach damage in the wash. But now...I'm going to use it on a new comforter and use it on a regular basis.I wish someone would make blankets feel like this!! It feels so good against the skin. It makes you feel cool in the summer. I live in Texas where it is STILL 98 degrees out right now -October 7th... COME ON Mother Nature give us a break!I bought a Queen size in the Purple for our Master Guest Bedroom, but just bought the King size in Teal for our Master Bedroom. I love that the Purple has purple, black and tan colors n white because you can get purple, black, tan or white color sheet sets, and the same with the King size <different colors obviously>, AND if you want - you can actually use BOTH sides of the Cover. The print you see in the photo is the side you'd use most often, but if you look closely at the BOTTOM photo <which is actually the Cover> you will see a little piece of fabric folded over the center of the cover, and that is what the other side of the Duvet looks like....a kind of "skeleton" design if you will. I think it's pretty cool! The buttons at the end of the Duvet would allow you t use ether side, so I like that. All in all, this is a beautiful cover at an excellent price, and the softest material I've ever touched! I definitely recommend it!

Good deal, but color's off and frays quickly.
This is my first time buying a duvet cover. The cat hair situation in my apartment is out of control, and this is one of the steps I'm taking to rein it in. For those purposes, this duvet cover does what it needs to do. It's slick on the outside, which repels hair (it comes inside-out, so don't be dumb here) and cottony on the inside, which keeps the blanket in place. It's very thin, so if you have a patterned blanket you're planning on covering, this might not be the duvet for you. I actually put two comforters back-to-back with the white underlining showing out, and it looks fine. The color is off. I got the red and black one. The colors are sorta dull and streaked through with white, and the gray and black vines are both kind of greenish. It's not horrible, but it is a little tacky, so don't get the red and black one if you are trying to create a luxurious-looking bedroom. That's not high on my list of priorities, though. I just wanted something to keep out cat hair, and this does that fine. Also, the pillowcase is big enough to stuff a nice, fat pillow in, so that's nice.EDIT: I've had the duvet for a few weeks now. It does a better job of clinging to cat hair than I'd initially thought, so if you're trying to cut back on hair accumulation, consider going satin instead. Also, it's getting worn out very quickly; I've got loose threads on two corners. It's still a pretty okay product for the price, but these are things to consider. Bumping the rating down from four stars to three to reflect the thread situation.

I didn't think much of this set, but...
Wow! When I first looked at this set I thought "Well it is only $15.00 just to cover a ruined white comforter", so I brought it. Not thinking to read the reviews first, I did so after buying it. I read some reviews that spoke of it being cheaply made, thin and a host of other complaints. For me, This is how I view this set:It is light- weight and for mine's there was only two small errors - the marking for the buttons holes was on the outside of the duvet but not big enough to be seen after closing the button, and small sewing errors on the side stitching. The pattern of the duvet is so nice no matter how you arrange it is still the same (this hold true for both sides). I am more happier with this duvet set than another one I brought for almost $70.00 which is mid-weight and not reversible. I am so happy with my purchase of this set that I'm buy it in a twin size to make into a two different shower curtains with all the left over material to make pillows to match. So with being said, if you are thinking of using this on something that is heavy colored or not one single color, it could be a bad buy. However if you need a cover to get the job done and looks nice without spending a lot of money to do so, this could be a good buy.
