Nice switch!!!
I recently set up the 8 Ports Ethernet Switch with 8 2.5G RJ45 Ports and 1 10G SFP Port, and I have to say, Iโm pretty impressed. The installation was straightforward, and I appreciated the clear labeling on the ports, which made it easy to connect everything without any confusion. My home network is much more robust now. The 2.5G speeds have noticeably improved my internet experience, especially when streaming and gaming. I previously had issues with lag, but since using this switch, everything runs smoothly, even with multiple devices connected. The SFP port is a nice touch for future upgrades if I ever need faster connectivity options. Build quality feels solid, and it runs quietly, which is a plus for me since my setup is in a shared space. Overall, I think this switch offers great performance for the price, and Iโd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home or small office network. Itโs an easy way to enhance your network without breaking the bank!

Super swift outa the box!
This well built, high quality, metal box, switch was easy to install and every time i do a speed test, every computer connected has a 2.49G through-put to my 5G router. My internet has never been so fast! Also transfers from computer to computer are unbelievable, too! It has been in operation for over three months and have no down issues to report. Although, not very familiar with the Brand, if needed I would buy another one without hesitation.

Works excellent, keeping my network moooving
Starting with the 5-stars... It does what it says. I don't use the VLAN option. Out of the box, on first power up, I am not sure if the VLAN switch was on or part-way, but... Powered down, I switched it up to VLAN, down to not VLAN, and powered up. Everything connected perfectly, including the 10G SFPs I have. It connected directly to the other Goalake switch I have (8-port 2.5g x7, 10G SFP 1x), and everything connected without issue. This will be placed near my router, acting as the central switch, connecting to the other 2x switches throughout the house, and also a couple of ports for my devices near the router. It is silent, and doesn't seem to heat up much with little load. Steel design, have not opened it up for a look inside. Easy desktop/shelf size for smaller spaces. Performance was tested only via 2x 2.5gb connections over the 10G SFP. They ran full wire speed at 2.49gbps. My primary reason for the 10G fiber SFP+ was using fiber is a bit more reliable and functional in this space. I used the following SFP+: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09X9RZWX9 B09X9RZWX9 These use standard LC-LC fiber. I used these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BZB6YX5 B08BZB6YX5 Everything works, I have a very basic but solid (so far!) 2.5gb network running over CAT6, and running 100' of LC-LC fiber between switches via 10G SFP+s.

Works absolutely perfectly, and a great value.
I have this hooked up in my office so I can transfer between my 2024 MacBook Pro (2.5Gbit via Caldigit TS4 Plus, 2022 Mac mini (with 2.5Gbit USB adapter), and my PC (MSI X870E Carbon with 2.5Gbit port). This was as easy as it gets to set up. Plug in to wall, plug devices into switch - done. That's all there is to it. Speed is in line with what you'd expect for 2.5Gbit with file transfers, and no issue using other non-2.5Gbit devices at gigabit speed on it. Excellent! Only minor quibble is it would be nice to see LEDs on the front to determine connection speed, but this is a minor complaint. 5 out of 5. As good as it gets.

It works immediately after plugged in the CAT5 cable and no need for set up!
I haven't seen any improvement from my old switch.

Small price for a mighty unmanaged switch
I tried, I really did.... I couldn't max out the backplane , but every ethernet port with do 2.5 Gbps [x4] full-duplex (unfortunately I only have one other SFP+ device [10Gbps x2], so I can't max it out. For this price point, that it an impressive port capacity. I would recommend it for home use or small office use because of the reasonable compact cost, low power use, size. It can also be a great way to add 2.5Gbps backhaul to mesh systems that have only a single 2.5Gbps port. Power consumption is INCREDIBLY reasonable (1A at 12 DCv Max, in theory). Of course, it will depend on what you connect to those SFP+ ports. RJ45 only Idle ~4w +/-0.5w Nothing connected ~1.5w 4 RJ45 ports pinned to 2.5gbps duplex ~5-6w These are ESTIMATES (I took several measurements) ans I checked my measurements and they seem in line There is wide compatibility with varying speeds of ethernet, so If you have a slower wired device, that's no big deal, you have to love standards! Negotiated speed are easy to see simply by looking as the indicator lights on each port. I like to keep my reviews balanced... I am NOT taking away points, but two small L brackets for mounting would be a nice touch if they had added those. The hardware VLAN only being accessible if you use SFP+ is a bummer hardly the end of the world especially for home use. Home use in homelabs would not surprise me,

Full 2.5Gbps at an Affordable Price
Built like a tank, with a fully metal casing and solid, substantial feel. I get the full 2.5Gbps (2.45Gbps real-world). For my use as a dumb switch with no VLAN turned on and connected to my 2.5Gbps router, set-up was very easy and it works perfectly. It's cool to the touch even though it's silently fanless. Only one, tiny niggle: the docs have the port status lights reversed. Green (link) is on the right, and yellow (2.5Gbps) is on the left of each RJ-45. The product listing indicates that this item is frequently returned, but I'm guessing many buyers don't really understand its purpose.

High capacity switch that works great
We upgraded our internet speed and this switch did the trick. I needed the 8 ports for multiple hook ups and they are all delivering the advertised speed with good connectivity. I have not noticed any excessive heat and it seems durable. It would be nice to have the indicator lights on both sides since this can be installed in any orientation but thatโs a minor issue.
