good exercise, takes up space
Like all good exercise equipment, this takes up a lot of space and doesn't fit in well with any interior design goals you might have. That's just the reality of it. But for my mother-in-law, it's worthwhile to be able to get some upper body exercise without worrying about standing/balance at the same time. We had a little trouble getting it to fit her specific chair, but it is functional even if a little awkward.

Hard to put together
Either a part was missing or not suited to attaching leg stretchers. Wouldn't reach from back of chair to front.

Check your chair style before purchasing
Got this for my 80 year old dad who has a lot of physical decline. I live with him to help around the house, and thought this might be something he could use while watching TV. I realized after getting it that the "wings" on the sides of his recliner would make this uncomfortable to use because the black straps that hold the machine in place would leave a gap between the straps and the chair making it impossible to sit back all the way.I found an alternate chair. It's not as comfortable so I don't think he'll use the machine as often, but he is using it. I put a blanket between the machine and the chair to protect the chair's fabric from possible damage. It's a bit heavy and I did not want to take any chances. I was worried the machine might slide with the blanket there, but so far the straps have kept it in place.Putting it together was easy, but putting it onto the chair was not. A senior citizen with mobility issues or grip strength would need help attaching this to a chair. The machine is a bit heavy to hold while also attaching the straps. The middle pull straps have three tension levels, which is nice. The top pulley does not have tension and the leg pulls have one tension option. There is no noise while using this machine, which is nice when you want to watch TV while exercising. You can fold it back behind the chair when not in use if this machine will be used in a high traffic/visible area of your home.My dad is happy with it. It provides the right amount of tension/activity for what he needs at this moment. If you or your loved one regularly works out, this machine would be too easy. It's definitely a rehab-type of machine.I took off one star because of the price. While it will help with rehab efforts, approximately $73 seems like a lot of money for this machine. If you will use it regularly, then it will be worth the investment.

Home Exercise Equipment for Seniors
The Total Body Rehabilitation equipment is great when going to the gym or rehab facility is impractical due to weather or time constraints or when you don't feel like going out of the house. I ordered it for my wife, who needs to rehabilitate and gain strength in her arms, legs, feet, and shoulders. I planned to install it in her recliner, but she nixed that, so I put it in one of my office chairs. Assembling the equipment was relatively easy. The video on the product's website and the accompanying assembly instructions are helpful. However, I took more time to tie it to the chair to ensure I didn't damage it during installation and use.The equipment is made of thickened steel, so it is not easily damaged, which could harm the user. The heavy-duty tensioners should keep it securely tied to the chair. The thickened and smooth steel frame should also prevent scratches. The three types of exercises on this equipment are beneficial for improving the range of motion and muscle strength in the shoulders, arms, and legs. I like that the force of the arm exerciser is adjustable from 20 lbs to 60 lbs by adding or removing bands. The pulling force of the leg exerciser is fixed at 50 lbs. I wish that it was also adjustable. The shoulder pulley has no pulling force and is for exercising the shoulders' range of motion. Having the Total Body equipment ensures that the rehabilitation does not stop when we can't go to the gym or rehab facility.
