Started using this for daily water consumption for the family. Works well was easy to install. Water flow is fast and consistent. We can use it more for cleaning but we have it installed in the bathroom sink rather than at our primary sink in the kitchen. Would need additional parts to install in a kitchen sink.

We purchased this after much research. Several independent sites listed this model as the "best of the best". I watched their install video direct at the company website which helped me install with ease (above sink). Our biggest testimonial though is the taste of the water. We have been drinking ONLY Arrowhead for years because we are so picky with regards to taste. This water actually tastes better than Arrowhead! It's so clean and clear with nothing floating around in the glass. Not including the unit itself, a case of water will now cost us about 12cents plus no more plastic in our landfills. I'd highly recommend this model. UPDATE: still really happy with the product after using it for 9 months. I love that the company posts "how to" videos which makes install and maintenence a breeze. No issues at all with the product

This looked like a great machine, especially after seeing all the 5 star reviews. For 1400 though, the drinking water it made tasted horrible and metallic. I have normal city tap water, I even have been drinking from a water pitcher filter for several years, yet the water from this machine tasted worse than my pitcher. For 1400 I expected more, but the filter that they claim is so "efficient" and "purifies so many liters" of water, is nothing more than a water pitcher filter. For 1400 you get a machine with a 30 dollar water pitcher filter inside! and some plates and what not to make the ph alkaline. Well I do not know if the ph was alkaline or just metallic, but I could not drink it the taste was so bad. The carbon filter inside this thing is tiny, and carbon filters only really remove chlorine and a some other chemicals in the water. I read an article online by some ecologist, he said these machines are dangerous if the water is not properly filtered, since they can concentrate chemicals and metals in the water into the alkaline drinking water stream. For 1400 I thought these guys would have worked that out with a good filter! especially since they hype up how good the filter inside their unit is. I cut it open, and my water pitcher filter, they have the same filter material inside. So this thing is using the same filter as a 30 dollar pitcher! Its curious why the water does not taste the same, it must be something with ph, who knows! I also read some statements in the warranty, on the very last page of the user manual, that did not make me fell comfortable. It states in the user manual, as you can see in the picture I took of it, that the warranty does not include unusual wear damage resulting from accident or unreasonable use further the warranty does not cover damages in regard to installing the water ionizer units. The paper work also states IN BIG BOLD LETTERS SHOW IN THE ATTACHE IMAGE: that all installations should be approved by a nationally recognized P.I.P.E or other certified contractor. I do not know what a P.I.P.E contractor is, but it seems like if I do not get a certified contractor to install my air water life water ionizer, and something breaks, they can claim the damage is not covered under "improper or unreasonable use". These clauses in the fine print of the warranty look like loopholes, easy ways for them to get out of the warranty and claim that I somehow voided the warranty? I fell like there pulling a fast one on me, cheap filter, dubious warranty terms, back in the box and back to amazon I will send this for a refund.

We purchased this a few months back. We live in a rental home, that has well water with an iron filtration system. We were buying drinking water until we purchased and installed this. We love the quality of water we are getting from this. We use all the settings, from Cleaning water to Cooking water. This taste better than any bottled water, and in just a few months we will be saving money. Make a great cup of tea. We did install it on the counter top, which is not what I would prefer, but I wasn't going to go through the hassle of installing it under the sink in a rental home. All in all, a good purchase so far. We are pleased we finally purchased one.

I have a few notes for you if for some reason you are not installing this Ionizer machine inline with your water hook up. In that case you will need a pump that can feed the water from your source through the machine. Regardless of your need, if you use an external pump you have to get the right pump, and, you need to be very careful with the hose and fittings used along the whole chain to avoid adding toxic materials. Another reviewer published a 2016 study on the safety of garden hoses and it is eye-opening. A number of so-called "drinking water safe" hoses are not). The study found a wide variety of hoses and fittings contained toxic elements such as lead, bromine, antimony, tin, Phthalates, and other unwanted chemicals. What's the point in optimizing the PH of the water and increasing its anti-oxidant capability (Oxygen Reduction Potential or ORP) if the water isn't pure to begin with? Let's start with the pump. I must have purchased, and returned, every impeller style pump Amazon offers (all AC units that plug into a wall outlet). For example the "Goplus Water Transfer Pump" and the "TACKLIFE Water Transfer Pump". All impeller type pumps seem to have two disadvantages when pumping drinking water from a container, First, most of them need to be primed by pouring water directly into the pump cavity via the inlet connection. That's a nuisance. More importantly, the pumps need to be occasionally lubricated with vegetable oil. Yech. The oil is needed to help seal the impeller where it touches the pump wall. I found that the pumps all lose pressure over time if you don't lube them. After trying one pump after another I finally decided to spend the bigger bucks on a diaphragm type pump. The AC version of the SEAFLO pump is well rated (SEAFLO 33-Series Industrial Water Pressure Pump w/Power Plug for Wall Outlet). This pump works! Make note of the following: 1) The pump produces just the right amount of pressure to run the Ionizer machine. The machine will read "Moderate" on its LCD pressure indicator (as oppose to "Low" or "High"). 2) The pump fittings are not standard 3/4" garden hose. You must adapt them to fit a garden hose. But unlike several reviews stating otherwise, the pump fittings are standard, and adapters are at the hardware store; Tapped 1/2 FIP to 3/4 MH (see photo). 3) Although there is no "drinking water safe" claim, the label on the pump reads it is "UL tested to FDA standards", and "Tested to NSF 372 standard", which is a standard for dangerous amounts of lead. Now as for the garden hose, to make a long story short we purchased an ELEY garden hose. These hoses are made from Polyurethane, as opposed to PVC (Danger Will Robinson) or rubber. The brass fittings are lead free. This is an expensive hose, but 'what price good health', right?
