Excellent quality and great value
Really impressed with this watch. The 36mm size looks elegant and well-proportioned on the wrist, and the gold-tone finish and presidential-style bracelet give it a much more premium appearance than the price would suggest. The bracelet is comfortable, the watch feels solid, and the overall finishing is excellent. Very happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it.

Very nice with some minor items
Overall, I really like this watch, especially for the price. The first thing that caught my attention was the light blue dial. It really makes the watch pop without being too flashy. I also love the darker blue seconds hand. It really stands out against the lighter blue dial and gives the watch a little more character. One disappointment is the lume on the hands. It’s basically nonexistent. I really wish Pagani would do a better job with this, but unless you’re willing to spend a lot more money, poor lume seems to be something you just have to live with on watches in this price range. The finish is decent, but it’s definitely not perfect. When I was adjusting the bracelet and looking at the links under magnification, I noticed that some of the ends of the links were a little rough and sloppy. You’d probably never notice it just wearing the watch, but it’s there. Again, for what this watch costs, I can’t complain too much. I’ve also noticed that the bracelet seems to bite into my wrist a little. That could just be the design and I’m not used to it yet, or it could be part of the finishing. I guess I’ll find out after wearing it for a while. I also wish the fluting on the bezel were sharper and more defined. It’s certainly recognizable as a fluted bezel, but the edges are a little softer than I would’ve liked. Even some of the Japanese watches from the 1980s that borrowed heavily from this same design had much sharper, more pronounced fluting. It’s a small detail, but sharper fluting would really improve the overall look of the watch. I’ve seen several people complain about the 36mm size, but to be honest, that’s actually one of the things I really like about this watch. This is obviously an homage to the iconic Swiss Day-Date introduced in the 1950s (you know the one… crown logo, rhymes with “Molex”). The original was 36mm, and back then that wasn’t considered a small watch. Watches in the 1950s and 60s were generally smaller and much more restrained than a lot of the bombastically oversized watches we see today. Personally, I think 36mm looks great for this type of watch. It has the classic proportions that this design is supposed to have, and I wouldn’t want it any larger. One thing I’m a little less sure about is the Sea-Gull movement. I would’ve felt better if Pagani had used a Seiko/TMI movement in the 36mm version. Looking at the Sea-Gull movement under magnification, you can tell that it’s just not as refined or polished as the Seiko movements I’m used to. Whether that makes any difference in how well it runs five or ten years from now, I really don’t know, so I’m not going to criticize it for something that hasn’t happened. So far, though, the movement seems to be running just fine. I put it on my timegrapher and got about +21 seconds/day, 254° amplitude, and a 0.2 ms beat error. No, those aren’t luxury-watch numbers, but for an automatic watch at this price point, I think they’re perfectly acceptable. Again, you have to keep reminding yourself what this watch costs. The date window is probably my other complaint. Some of the two-digit dates look a little odd because the numbers seem too widely spaced. It’s not every date, but “11” is a good example. Since each 1 is so narrow, at first glance it can almost look like the date is just “1” unless you notice the other 1 sitting way over on the other side of the window. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, but it’s something they could improve. Even with those complaints, I’m really happy with the watch. The light blue dial and darker blue seconds hand look fantastic, I love the traditional 36mm size, and for the price I can forgive some rough edges in the finishing. If you like the classic Day-Date look and don’t think every watch needs to be bombastically oversized, there’s a lot to like about this one.

Teeny tiny Usage Instructions but Big Value
This is a very pretty watch that you won't have to take in for a battery replacement. It's a dressy version of the Invicta diver watch, well watches, because they make so many grades and sizes of them. It's quality is on par with a hundred dollar watch. The edges are smooth, the clasp very easy to use, great fit. The bezel size it seems is a little small, but this is better than having a top heavy one. These good automatic watches can be very pricey, so this is a good value for me. On the other hand, it sure could've used a BIGGER instructions booklet. What's the problem with using more paper and a larger font?

Absolute beauty.
ive been looking for a new piece for a while, this one really sold me. The movement is elegant and accurate, quality compared to other watches I’ve paid the same price for is excellent. The weight, materials, and see through back so you can see the movement is such an incredible experience I believe will have me coming back to pagani in the future. Big fan now.

It's inexpensive, and I should've known better. Check out other brands.
I ordered this watch during Prime Days and was excited to get it since it looks a lot like another unnamed brand. I've owned multiple day-date watches, and this one wasn't working correctly as soon as I took it out of the box. I tried to set the date, and the number won't align with the window (see photo). When I changed the day of the week, some days lined up perfectly, and others were cut in half, only showing part of the day before or the day after. The watch has decent weight, so it doesn't feel cheap. It's sad because the watch still has stickers, and it feels like the inside mechanism is broken. Honestly, I should've bought the Seiko I had my eye on instead. I also bought two Pagani watches during Prime Days, the other one being a GMT. The GMT has issues with the bracelet opening and closing. I had high hopes for this watch and brand, but I'm very disappointed. I also own dozens of watches at all price points, including others manufactured in China. I wish the quality was better. Save your money and check out other brands.

The perfect gift for Valentine's Day 💝⌚
I bought it for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and it was a success. Since he opened the box he loved it. The design is super elegant, the golden color looks very fine and combines with both formal and casual clothes. It feels good quality, heavy in a good way (it doesn't look or feel cheap) and the details of the dial give it a very sophisticated touch. It was definitely a special and successful gift. If you are looking for something that looks elegant and meaningful to surprise someone, I totally recommend it.
