I'm really surprised with this brush because it's gotten knots out of my hair that I didn't even know that I had. My scalp is very soft meaning that any pull or tug hurts. My hair isn't necessarily thick enough to benefit from the defining pieces on the side but for the price and the quality I will be keeping and continuing to use this brush.

I went to a curly hair specialist and they recommended this brush. They told me to brush it right out of the shower before drying my hair. Then to dry my hair with a microfiber towel- don't scrunch just plop it in the towel and hold it up to your head for a few seconds, then go on to the next section.I do notice a difference between when I use this brush and when I use my old brush. It breaks them up a little smaller, so I don't have clumpy curls. Very good purchase, and the price was good too.

Great set of hair brushes, I use one and my toddler uses the smaller one, great for her learning independence and gaining confidence with brushing her own hair and others!

The edges were great for curl separation but my hair was way too fine for the bristle separation.. they didnt grab the hair.. there wasnt enough tension.. so this is a no for me but if I had thicker or coarser hair this would be great!
