Het duurde lang om voor de klok om geleverd te worden. De webshop DELOVA LLC heeft, ondanks dat ze Nederland in de naam hadden gezet, een Amerikaanse adapter meegeleverd naar Nederland. Na wat berichten heen en weer over een oplossing zijn ze nu helemaal van Amazon verdwenen en zit ik met een onopgelost probleem. Lelijke reisstekkers of zelf een adapter kopen (geen standaard USB aansluiting). Eea bij Amazon gemeld, reactie blijft uit. Klok zelf is leuk, allemaal plastic fantastic, maar doet wat je ervan verwacht. Fijn dat het display te dimmen is.

This is an extremely well-designed basic alarm clock. The wood-finish clock looks very attractive! Kudo's to the manufacturer for including a simple, well-written, easy-to-read instruction guide for setting up and operating the clock.The large 2"-high display is easy to read and highly visible (even from 30 feet). The time and alarm setting buttons are intuitive. Long-press either time-set or alarm-set to enter the setting mode and to advance to the next step. Plus and minus buttons allow setting each of hours and minutes in either direction. A DST (Daylight Savings Time) button allows adjusting +/- one hour without having to go through the time-setting procedure. While active, a DST indicator displays. Display brightness and alarm volume are adjustable. While an alarm is set, a bell symbol appears in the display. The alarm set time can be displayed for five seconds by briefly pressing/releasing the alarm set button.Two AAA batteries provide backup of the time/alarm settings during a power outage. The alarm will sound at the set time during a power outage if the AAA batteries have not run down. The time is NOT displayed while running on the backup battery. The AC adapter must be used at all times.The alarm may be silenced for nine minutes with a touch snooze button on the top. Briefly pushing any button on the rear turns off the alarm until the next day. The alarm may be completely turned on/off with the Alarm On/Off button.Having just received it, I cannot comment on long-term accuracy.My one gripe: There is no low-battery indicator. Have to remember to change the backup batteries periodically. The instructions also do not say how long the battery will last during a power outage or how often the batteries should be changed. My guess - change annually if there has not been a power outage.Overall, highly recommended and an incredible value.

Looks stylish, can dim the brightness of the numbers, easy to set alarm, hit snooze, volume not to loud…very nice alarm clock!

Love this clock. It really looks like there is no display so when you plug it in and it shows up, it's really neat. You can see a little bit of pseudo-grain in the numbers, which looks nice. The whole thing looks nice, like a little block of wood and it weighs almost nothing, even with a couple AAA backup batteries installed. Big display but fairly small unit. Makes for a good decoration.The alarm sound has good volume. Volume starts low and ramps up with each buzz until full volume. Snooze button is on top but it's not an actual button, just touch a touch sensitive spot on top that has the word snooze. Any button pressed on the back will turn off the alarm (those are actual buttons on the back).Display brightness ranges from off to barely seeing it to full brightness as you see in the pictures. No more having to manually change time for daylight savings time, just press the DST button and it will jump an hour for you. If DST is currently in effect, it will display a small DST on the display. Has a button to choose either standard or military time.I've had it plugged in for over an hour now and unlike the heater of an alarm clock it's replacing, it is cool to the touch. However, I did unplug the power briefly to test the battery backup function, this is a bit disappointing as the clock shut off (I see now the store page states this clearly) but at least when I plugged the power cord back in, it didn't lose time. Also, the alarm will still go off though you can't see anything when it's just batteries and the instructions say that as the batteries get low that the alarm volume will be reduced accordingly.There's also a USB port on the back so you can plug in your cell phone or something else for charging. Mine came with an approx. 18" USD cord. In case you are curious, plugging it into my PC did nothing, it's just a charging port. Instructions with this are simple and easy to understand though the whole thing is intuitive so not much need for them.
