Super fun, easy to play, works great with mixed age groups!
What a fun game! We have three kids across a pretty wide age span (8 years) and were looking for a game that is simple enough to play that the youngest can do it with a partner and clear enough so that grandparents won't be overwhelmed while still having enough strategy to interest older kids. This game is perfect! It's fun and funny, and a good introduction to counting cards if you have a mini card shark (doesn't every family have that one kid?) but has enough luck in it to even the playing field. Easy to pick up and play and learn as you go, it would work great for multi-lingual groups, too (only the le boost cards require minimal English reading) and you can play just a little mini round if it's time for bed or grab some paper and keep score and make it an event. It was fun enough that I'm looking forward to playing it again as much as the kids are ๐. They also really handed it to me so I have to try harder and make sure they don't beat my goats out for the good food next time!

The Kids Are Alright
You don't know French Goats. But you'll know fun for the whole family when you see it. The colorful and vivacious cards are to die for! We were laughing ourselves through each game with the silly pictures and extravagant French cuisine. French Goats is another slam dunk by Messy Table games! My youngest boy at 6, to my oldest at 12 think it's a fun romp with easy playability right outta the box. And there's a good bit of strategy thrown in there to keep the replay fresh!

Simple Fun Blind Bidding Card Game
A simple game to learn, teach, and play. The game is very portable and doesnโt take up a lot of table space making it great for travel or to play anywhere. Good quality cards and fun art. The game is fun for all ages. Fun elements of bluffing and trying to anticipate your opponents. A quick fun game and that is How Lou Sees It.

Super fun -- Quick rules, easy to understand and great art!
Such a fun game. My family (13 &10 yo) love it because the rules are easy and it doesn't take long to play. The quick pace means you can play it over and over again and try a different strategy to win each time. The artwork is a super cool combination of real life photos combined with cartoon artwork that creates a unique look we haven't seen in other games (the bidding cards even have a Where's Waldo feel to them). Overall, this game has tons of value for the money getting repeat plays at our dinner table!

Not as advertised. Don't buy to learn French from playing. Dull game, just pix of France on cards.
Not at all what I expected. Advertised as a game to learn French, it isn't. A simple (dull) card game with pictures from France on the cards, is all it is. Don't buy if you're hoping to learn any French from playing the game. The game itself is not as interesting as ordinary card games like Gin, Hearts, Spades.

Unique game, fun design!
Fun and silly game! Played the 2 player way and it was a good time! Quick to learn and fast gameplay, which are always something I hope for in a card game. The design and theme are colorful and unique. The bonus cards add a good layer of randomization to what is otherwise a more strategic game. Though I played this game with another adult, I could see it being a good one for families and for kids.

Great game to start off a night
Fun and simple game. It doesn't last very long and once you've played 2 or 3 rounds you feel ready to move on. It's a good starter game before you want to move on to something longer. The cards themselves are good quality and it's a great game to take on the road as it's travel size.

Super fun!
Love this game! Easy to learn with a lot of fun interaction between players. The highest card played in each round wins. BUT, with a couple twists! First, if there is a tie, the next highest bid wins the food. This gets hilarious when you win with a lower bid because the other players tied with higher bids. It also adds a fun dynamic where you try to outthink and outguess what everyone else will bid. Second, there are special bonus cards that change the game play such as swapping bids between players, random bids, tie breaker cards and so on. This is one of our go to games for game night!
