I was hit by a texting driver doing 55, that accident really messed up my neck. It's been very painful and my spinal cord is still swollen 3 months later but this cold pack has really helped! It's comfortable and interestingly it's got a nice weight that makes it extra supportive, the little apron in the back reaches down to my upper thoracic level and provides extra relief for my injuries, it's so much nicer than a straight band shaped ice pack, helped with the clavicle pain due to dislocated ribs from the seatbelt, you can open it up and lay it over your shoulder to reach your ribs. So helpful! It gets very cold but it's very flexible so it's super comfortable to use, still pretty cold after 30 mins of wearing. It's gentle on skin too, no frost bite. I love this thing, use it several times a day. It's holding up very well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this ice pack for cervical injuries!

Yes. This is a good product. It can be to cold on the skin but I live it for my knees and back also.good price. I keep it in my freezer in case it is needed. It is a soft feel like gel I like that most about it. I hate hard ice feeling. It doesnt last as long like frozen ice but it doesnt take long to get very cold

Neck Recovery ​I bought this cool gel pad specifically for my husband to use after his Cervical Spine Surgery, and it has been a huge help for the swelling around his incision on the front of his neck. ​The Pros: ​Perfect Texture: Even after being in the freezer, the pad stays soft and flexible. This makes it very easy to wrap comfortably around the neck without it being stiff or bulky against a sensitive wound. ​Effective Cooling: Putting it in the freezer for about 4 hours makes it perfectly cold. It has definitely helped with his healing process and managing the post-surgical inflammation. ​Gentle on the Skin: Because it stays pliable, it fits the contours of the neck much better than a standard hard ice pack. ​The Cons: ​Short Duration: My only complaint is that the cold doesn't last very long. We find it stays cold for only about 10–15 minutes before it starts to warm up. ​Overall Verdict: Despite needing to swap it out frequently, it is much more comfortable for a neck injury than a regular ice pack. If you are buying this for surgery recovery, I’d actually recommend getting two so you can always have one rotating in the freezer!

This is a fabulous product! It's well-made and heavier than most cold-pack products. There are no cold pack inserts to mess with--the entire item chills. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes to reach ultimate coldness and stays cold-to-cool for about 45 - 60 minutes. I accidentally left it in the freezer overnight and it did not freeze to rock-hard--it remained flexible. Since the dense weight helps support my neck injury, I continue to wear it after the coldness wears off. Since I like the product so much, I purchased another, so I can interchange them every two hours or so. I replace the item in the package it came in before placing it in the freezer. No need to cut the package open, simply peel it downward from the top. I highly recommend this product!
