Can't recommend this enough. Getting rid of used cooking oil has always been such a faff, and this makes it completely hassle-free. Just add the powder to your hot oil and it solidifies as it cools — once it's cool it's solid and you can just chuck it in the bin. Brilliant. The only slightly tricky bit is estimating how much powder to use if you're not sure how much oil you have, but guestimating works fine and I just add a little extra to be safe. If it comes out mushy and hasn't fully solidified, you've not added enough — just gently reheat the oil, add a bit more powder and let it cool again. Simple fix. A genuinely great product that I won't be without.

Excellent product. After frying foods with cooking oil, there is a disposal problem if the oil remains in liquid form. You either have to pour it into a container and dispose of it either at a recycle depot or pour it in liquid form into your compost bag. If it leaks from the compost bag, it creates a mess. However, when you use this solidifier, you can then dispose of the solidified oil into the compost bag without it turning back into liquid form. Excellent way to easily dispose of the used oil.
