I found hot pepper keeps the squirrels away. Since applying it (very carefully... I put it in a shaker with large holes) and then spread it around the flowers and other areas where they use to dig. It has worked for over a week now. I have applied it a couple times. Be careful handling it. It is very hot. I am sure it would make good chili too. It doesn't seem to effect Robins... they peck around on it. Must not have any taste buds! ;-)

We didn’t cook with this, we used it for pest repellent and it worked great.

Used for a couple things - not only to season my foods but also helps to keep the squirrels from digging out the dirt and planting acorns in my potted plants it doesn’t hurt the squirrels or the plants

We had an explosion of Prairie Dog rodents recently. We probably have 30-40 if not more on the property. I went around and sprinkled this pepper around each hole. Careful because the wind was blowing slightly causing just a slight unseeable dust to get on my face and wow this stuff stings hahaha. If the prairie dogs can ignore this stuff, they will be my hero because this pepper powder is potent. Great shipping and value. Will order again if I run out as I'm sure I'll need to re-apply periodically.Update:Well, after a day, the larger prairie dogs are back. It seems to have kept the smaller ones away, but the large ones have somehow managed to deal with the cayanne. Not sure how because this stuff is potent. I'll keep applying and hopefully it will deter them from staying.Update 2:They are all gone! I applied another round of the pepper in and around their holes. I was pretty liberal with the product. Later that same day, I saw some of the prairie dogs again, but... now they are all gone. I see that they have moved to the back of my property about 3 acres away. I didn't do anything else to make them move aside from applying another dosing of the pepper. Very pleased with the results.

Works well to keep the cats out of my yard and flowerbeds. I sprinkle this in my flowerbeds, grass, on top of fences, basically all around the perimeter of my property and it has kept the cats away. No more annoying feral and neighborhood cats trespassing, digging, and pooping… strong stuff, will make you sneeze! Handle with care.
