No, the V3 doorbell can’t be wired to a consistent power source, using only batteries. Our Video Doorbell Pro offers a wired connection.

How far does the motion detection work?

Motion detection is effective up to 5 metres (16 feet).

Can I share access with family members?

Correct Wi-Fi band.

Only works on Wi-Fi at 2.4gh nothing above, I had to get my Wi-Fi split by supplier to 2 bands (2.4 &5.0gh) Make sure your Wi-Fi is compatible.

Do not purchase

First one I bought was returned because it could not record first few seconds because of static. Second one they sent me is even worse than the first one. You cannot see anything for about 10 /15 seconds because of static. Then sometimes you cannot see anything at all because the static is continuous. Complete and utter rubbish. Do not reccomend
