Not cheap but very supportive
Previously I have always worn the BLACK Superfeet insoles (they are thin, so fit most shoes) in my footwear. But decided to try these CARBON insoles for more support in trainers and walking shoes. Goodness, they are excellent. They are almost as thin as the BLACK ones, BUT the arch support is far more robust so gives better arch supports to my feet during long days of walking or travelling. They aren't cheap, but then they stop knee and hip pain, and that is worth it!

Ideal for multiple footwear
I find that the carbon insoles are thinner than some of the other superfeet products. As such they are perfect for my hillwalking boots, cycle shoes, leisure shoes hence I own 4 pairs of these insoles - very comfortable without taking too much room in the footwear - fully recommend even though the price is extortionate

Not quite working as I hoped
Bought these to fit into a pair of hand made Cheaney brogues to stop feet aching until I have broken them in. Originally bough the Black version but they are a bit to thick, these are better but not perfect as the plastic heal support lifts your heal up by around 5mm or more and the foot arch a bit higher making my shoe tight and feel odd around the heel. So deciding if I can reduce the height of the black plastic support. However as far as the quality goes these inner soles are well made and do support your feet.

Rescued my Dr Martens
I have been trying to break in a pair of Dr Martens shoes for a while (they pinched & felt like they were never going to soften) The installed insole began to bunch at the left shoe toe area, which added to my discomfort. At the point of almost giving up on them, I ripped out the glued in fake leather insole and bought a pair of these insoles. They have transformed my Dr Martens. They are still snug, but there is at least some wiggle room now, which I'm sure will aid the breaking process. The only downside is that the superfeet insole appears to have a slightly higher heel support, but for the moment, I'm happy.

Low profile and highly effective - used on Everest
Low profile and highly effective. I bought these for my Mountaineering boots, after trying numerous insoles over the last couple of years. Compared to other Superfeet insoles, these are low profile and fitted neatly into my boots. I used my boots when moving between base camp and advanced base camp on Everest (22km, 1,200m of ascent). They were extremely comfortable.

More painful than normal insoles
I purchased a pair of vans recently and didn't realise how little support they had until I spent a weekend walking around a city in them. My feet were in pain! As vans don't have much room to add an insole, I researched to find a very thin one and came across the carbon model of superfeet. They fit in the shoe great and when I first tried them on they felt a bit hard but my heel and arch felt supported. However, after a measley 12 hours in them my feet were in so much pain it was ridiculous. I was limping by the end of the day. People say it takes a while for new insoles to break in and you've just got to trek through it. But I am not putting my feet in any more pain just so that these insoles might be more comfortable in the future, with no guarantee. Returned them as soon as I could. These are so hard and uncomfortable. I would recommend a squishier insole with more give.

Work well in cycling shoes
Good support. These work very well in low volume / close fitting sports shoes like cycling shoes. The other superfeet version I bought did not. These will noit fit in traditional leather brogues etc.

Support for plantar fasciitis
I originally bought these insoles for my walking/hiking boots as I suffer from plantar fasciitis. They also fit my trainers and normal boots which is great for walking in town etc. They give me the support I need and my feet don't hurt as they used to. Only downer is I find the yellow material wears quite quickly but that may be because I use them a lot and do a lot of walking.

Best arch support insoles for me!!
Having flat or collapsed arch, I have a lot of pain after every run. I have bought many arch support insoles but this is by far the best for me!! Thin yet provide enough arch support and heel stabiliser cup for all tight running shoes!

No more venting holes?
Update: They removed the venting holes which are particularly important to me since I distant run. I would have thought it was a mistake but I ordered two pairs in different sizes be the venting holes are missing from both. That’s disappointing especially since there was no indication that they made a design change. Original Review I’m a distance runner (on and off since 1989). Over the past year I started having sharp knee pains when running and then when walking. So I stopped running, but I could not stop walking. The pain occurred frequently, almost every time I walked. Also I had a trip planned to Spain where I would be walking many miles. After a lot of research I found these inserts for low arch/flat feet. They arrived days before my trip and I started using them immediately. The first walk I had zero knee pain and I was cautiously optimistic. I wore them in Spain and walked many miles (approximately 30) with zero knee pain. Thank God!! They really work! I wore three different pairs or shoes swapping the inserts each time. I’ll be ordering several more because I wear various work, casual and athletic shoes. By the way, I’ve been switching these inserts between my sneakers, oxfords, and casual footwear and they fit perfectly and work in each style. I’m truly impressed and so happy. Now I can begin training for my next race. One note about comfort, they are noticeable because they provide support where your foot needs it. Some may find this uncomfortable at times. No knee pain far outweighs the feeling of the artificial arch support. I’ve already gotten used to the feeling of the new support. They have a new customer for sure.
