I needed a couple of countertop knives to replace some cheaper ones that just 'don't hunt anymore' The Damascus steel really is a plus for the price. A little more time has to be taken sharpening them but they really CUT!!!!! Well worth the prices.

Got for my husbands birthday and he absolutely loved them!

This is an impressive knife set. They are quite attractive, and are very sharp out of the box. (They can slice paper, just like on TV!) They have a full tang, so I think they’ll be durable. The balance is a little off -- heavier on the handle side -- but that doesn’t matter much to me. Picky chef-types might not like it. They come in a nice box for gifting. Overall I’m happy with them

Good value for price

These knives really disappoint me for a few reasons. First, they are not assembled well at all. The rivets are protruding on all three knives and their blades are fugly near each handle as demoed. Their weight is heavy on the handle end so they are not well balanced, nor am I. They did arrive sharp enough to shave some hair from my arm so that helped keep the third star. The ergonomics are OK so I will leave that to you to decide whether they are your style. They do have a full tang from tip to tail so score one on that point. Overall, I think these are a good set for someone just getting familiar with better kitchenware. For the more advanced and picky, you should move on. I am OK with the price point for the above statements but I would not, personally, order these for my own use at any price.

Just what my son wanted.

This knife set is very well-built. The knife’s are one piece steal blade with a riveted wooden handle. It is on the heavier side so it will go through vegetables or slice of roast. No problem at all. The handle is nice and large so it fits my hand very well and when it’s wet it does not get slippery and slide around. You do have to be careful they is very sharp and you do not need to use a stone just a steel put the edge right back into alignment. They are a very well built set. Easy to use, beautiful knife for the price. I would encourage you to buy this one.
