Absolutely love it. I’m very very happy with this product. It’s easy to operate, stability confirmed, descent weight, and of course safe and comfortable to use 👌🏻 The only recommendation I have; wish on the side foldable wings had some kind of handle to hold it just for extra safety and assist with transition. I highly recommend this item. Particularly, if you have elderly parents. Well done!

This works well if you combine it with a transfer board that has a sliding disk, and a sliding mat. They probably aren’t going to fall in a convenient spot. You will need the sliding mat to get them to the right place, then use the transfer board to get them on the lift, lift them up with the lift, then use the transfer board to get them from the lift to the bed/couch/wheelchair. Use a gait belt to secure them to the lift if necessary. This arrived with both suction cups for the bathtub and grips for the carpet. High quality item. Easy assembly. Little heavy but it has wheels. Wish wheels were bigger for carpet.

This item can be a lifesaver for a disabled individual who takes a fall and unable to get up by themselves. I was wary spending this amount for something I wasn’t familiar with. I am in my 70s and have MS. Unfortunately I’ve experienced many falls over the years. Originally I was able to get up. As the years went by I have relied on my very strong hubby - also in his 70s. It is getting harder & harder for him. We can foresee it being impossible soon. Our only alternative would be to find someone to assist or call 911. The chair was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged & on time. Two days later the chair proved it’s cost & weight in GOLD. I had another darn fall - no injuries but I couldn’t get up. Hubby brought out the new chair. I wished I would have practiced because me scooting & getting seated was not a pretty picture I’m sure but I did it! The chair performed PERFECTLY lifting me to access my rollator! No backache for hubby & I was so relieved I almost cried. To say we highly recommend this lift chair is an understatement! One caveat- the weight of the chair is not amenable for someone as small as me. I would have a hard time moving it into position. We do have large home so leaving it out beside the bed works. I would be able to scoot there to use it. I am rarely alone so that possibility is unlikely. A larger or slightly stronger person wouldn’t have that problem. The chair folds up nicely & could be kept in a central accessible place. If this chair fits your needs do not hesitate to- buy it and thank me later! First off please note that when folded without the little white fasteners to hold the blue plastic on the wings of the seats it is 9.5 inches high at the highest point. With the little fasteners it pops up some and is more like 10.5. I'm storing it under my loveseat so I left the fasteners off. I weigh 275 and it lifted me up just fine when I tried it going down and up. It's actually faster than the AX35 I had purchased but returned because it does not fold flat even though AI says it does. Anyway, I slip off my wheelchair when I lean forward sometimes and this will work to get me up off the floor very well. I can recommend this unit. If you had one of these kind of things years ago you may be surprised at how much more sturdy this one is. One more note. When you go to fold it up flat you need to drop the back down using the remote as far as it will go, using the down button. Then it will fold. If you only go down til the seat is down but not the back, it will not fold. I found that on Youtube.

My mother, who has dementia, recently fell and it was difficult to get her back up on her feet. No I feel that I am better prepared to assist her if she falls again. I have charged the remote and demonstrated the chair lift unit for her. It appears to be well made and sturdy. The unit itself is just under 30 pounds with a carry handle. It is simple to use, but the instructions for use and illustrations are somewhat insufficient. Mom, age 86, is cared for by my sister and myself, in two different states. We are in our 60s and still strong enough to tote this lifting device around. The unit will go where ever Mom is staying, so that we all have peace of mind.

This lift chair is worth its weight in gold! My husband is 90 and has balance and mobility issues. He falls frequently and cannot get up. He weighs 190 lbs so I am not able to get him up. Even my son and grandsons find it difficult. Three days after the chair arrived, he fell. He was able to maneuver himself onto the chair with just a tug on his belt from me. He was able to transfer himself to his walker from the raised chair without problems. Today was the first time I didn’t have to call for help! So grateful for this invention! Works well and is so easy to use!

30LBS feels heavier when you can't lift what you thought you could. Needs bigger wheels or a wheeled upright caddy to park it in. Put the back on, but can't lift it off. Not useful for weaker seniors. It does lift my 256 pounds with ease though. I'll give it that. If I fall though, it'd be all heck crawling to it and rigging it up. I live alone.

Very helpful. We've had to use this for my grandma so many times. Saves our backs big time!
