Napoleon Mantel Clock, Mahogany, 17.5 x 33.5 x 9cm

This is utterly cheap tat. It might look the part, but the chimes began malfunctioning within two days. The workings - the battery driven clock and the battery driven chiming mechanism take up just a fraction of the interior and if previous items of all kinds I have bought are anything to go by cost peanuts to produce. The casing is nice, but to charge £112 (though we got it for £108) is almost fraud. As I say, it looks the part, but I wouldn't pay more than £10 if I had been able to examine it properly first. As it is it doesn't even work properly. Avoid is my best advice. I shall be returning this and getting a full refund.

This is a really nice clock. It appears, of course, as it appears in the photo. I have mine sitting on a chest of drawers in my lounge. It is lovely to look upon, and enables me to keep track of the time as I go through my day. I don't really use the chime function, so I have no comment on that. But I am very happy with the product. I don't think you will go wrong if you purchase it.

Elegant ,loud chimes, which you can turn down but we love them. Has made our mantelpiece complete. Solidly built well finished

This is a well built, solid clock with a great tone to the chimes. These can be turned down or off, but also automatically silent at night.
