Good equipment
Accurate according to my physical therapist's "professional" tester. easy to use but don't get me started with lefthand righthand comparison. I haven't figured it out yet. Easy to adjust fits comfortably in my hands. Grip strength exerciser works well and is sturdy as is the grip tester. Do you know the difference between pink and purple? Grip!

Fun, good way to test strength.
Great way to have some fun for a good price. It does test your strength and is accurate to the 10th of a pound. How accurate? Not sure but is consistent with strength. The weight is not an issue at all but the size of the hand grip is more difficult for people with smaller hands. Good buy.

Very useful
I purchased this device primarily for the dynamometer to measure my hand strength over time. I wasn’t particularly interested in the included spring grip trainer or finger extensor bands, so my review focuses mainly on the dynamometer’s performance. Accuracy Concerns: Doctor’s Measurement vs. This Device After comparing measurements between this device and my doctor’s professional dynamometer over a few months, I noticed a significant discrepancy—this unit consistently reads 10-15 kg higher per hand than the one at my doctor’s office. I took multiple measurements on each hand to confirm, and the difference remained. At my last doctor’s visit, my grip strength was recorded as weak in my right hand and barely average in my left. Yet, this device placed me in the high normal to low "strong" range for my right hand and solidly "strong" for my left. That’s a huge variation! So, which one is correct? Did I somehow gain substantial strength without any training (unlikely), or is this device overestimating my grip strength? I suspect the doctor’s equipment is more precise and regularly calibrated, making it the more reliable benchmark. Best Use: Tracking Trends, Not Absolute Strength Given the accuracy concerns, I wouldn’t rely on the included strength chart to determine your actual grip category. Instead, I believe the real value of this device lies in tracking progress over time. Even if the absolute numbers are off, consistent use can still show whether you’re improving. Final Verdict: Good for Progress Tracking, But Look Elsewhere for Accessories I’m giving this product 5 stars for the dynamometer alone, as it serves my main purpose—tracking grip strength trends. However, if you’re looking for high-quality resistance trainers, I’d recommend shopping around for adjustable or progressive-strength options. Ideally, you’d want equipment that starts easy to activate the muscles and then increases in resistance as you build strength. Would I buy it again? Yes...

Pretty cool
I bought this for my weightlifter-son as a Christmas present. Both I and my father are as impressed with it as my son and his workout buddy friends are. It's easy to use; there's no need to tare it out or reset it if you want to test your grip strength repeatedly. It's adjustable; my son's hands are slightly bigger than mine, and for me to give it a proper squeeze, it's just a matter of spinning the inset adjustment dial to achieve the proper distance to measure my grip strength. It has comparative settings; I was able to find out I have the grip strength of the average 17 year old young man - not bad for a guy approaching 50 (my father, approaching 80, had approximately the same grip strength, which is even more impressive). Oh, and the price is right, too. If you're training your grip, it even comes with an exercise handgrip to build up its strength, and, though I haven't actually tried it, my son said it's well built, as well. Like I say, pretty cool, and definitely worth every penny spent.

Rehab Revolution in My Hands!
As a former collegiate volleyball player turned desk jockey, I never imagined I’d need a grip strength meter—until chronic wrist pain from years of typing and old sports injuries turned opening jars into a humiliating ordeal. Enter the dynamometer, a device that not only quantified my weakness but became the cornerstone of my recovery journey. Here’s how this unassuming gadget gave me back control of my hands—and my confidence. I’ll admit—when this arrived, I almost returned it. ""Another fitness gimmick,"" I thought, eyeing the minimalist packaging. But the moment I gripped it, my cynicism melted. The contoured silicone handle felt like shaking hands with a trusted coach—supportive but demanding effort. The matte black aluminum body had heft without being bulky (perfect for my petite 5’2"" frame), and the glowing blue LCD screen lit up instantly with a reassuring beep. No complicated buttons—just a clear ""0.0 lbs"" waiting for action. What sold me immediately? The adaptive grip span. At its narrowest setting (1.6”), my 8-year-old daughter could test her grip after gymnastics; at full width (3.9”), my 6’4” husband’s construction-worker hands didn’t dwarf it. This wasn’t a one-size-fits-all toy—it was a precision instrument. Week 9-12: Beyond Recovery Today? 62 lbs (right) and 58 lbs (left)—a 6% imbalance my PT calls ""better than average."" But the real wins are intangible: No more asking coworkers to open snack packages Flawless piano chord transitions during my daughter’s recital A handshake that made a client remark, ""You’ve got a surgeon’s grip!""

Nice product
I didn’t expect the quality that I received. I can get it up to 180 pounds no flexing of the product. I also didn’t expect the grip trainer to be as nice as it is.

It works
Device works well, the biggest problem is they didnt put any grip, so it constantly slips out of your hand so you can't really go full strength. Needs rubber on the bottom or some texture.

Really happy with this. It feels sturdy and well made, and the grip is comfortable even during longer sessions. I like that you can adjust the resistance, so it’s easy to increase the difficulty as you get stronger. It’s small enough to use anywhere too. Definitely a great little tool for improving grip strength.
