Is this camera easy to use? Can a 4 years use it?

Hi there, yes it is very easy to use from a four year old point of view. It has many other features as well as taking photos. We bought both our grandchildren one a couple of years ago when they were four and they are still enjoying using it very much. It is sturdy and will not break if you dropped it.

can you print straight from the camera?

It was a gift for my grandson so not sure but as it takes an SD card I assume you print from that, hope that helps

Do the batteries for this camera have to be ion lithium only?

No, you can use any kind of batteries.

Is this camera shockproof ? Also, the games section (which I am annoyed with!) is easily accessible for a 3.5 year old ?

I don't know the official shockproof line, but my 3 and 6 year olds love theirs, and treat them as you would expect a 3 and 6 year old to, badly. The games are perfectly suitable for age 3, but they don't use them much, they prefer the camera features.
