I think vitamin C may be the GOAT skincare ingredient. It's the only thing that I've added to my routine. My skin looks more radiant and tight. So definitely more collagen production and brightening effects. Also it has brightened and tightened my slightly dark and puffy under eyes from getting bad sleep. I've noticed quick results within 2 weeks. As far as the smell it smells a little bit like smoked sausage but I promise it's not bad. Not only is the smell bearable but but it fades within 10-15 min. It doesn't irritate my skin but it tingles after applying. That lets me know that the ascorbic acid content is potent. It dries very quick because it's water based. I let it dry for 5 minutes before applying moisturizer. I keep it in the fridge and take it out every time I use it. I've heard that doing that keeps it fresh. The only downside is that some people assume that I am significantly younger, which isn't always a good thing for men.

This is a great vitamin c serum. It’s lightweight, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling on my face. It wears well underneath other products without pilling. I appreciate the fragrance free formula; this is great for sensitive skin.

I have been using this product for about a week now, and I do think it's helping my skin. My skin look brighter, and more even. I always use a Vitamin C serum in the morning, and this one was recommended to me, so when I ran out of my other one, I decided to give this one a try. The box came opened and damaged, but the bottle was sealed. I was worried because the serum smelled like it had expired. I has a very "bad orange" or maybe rotten fruit smell to it. I thought maybe my serum had been sent to me expired, but then I read more comments and saw that there is a smell to this. I can live with the smell, since I do layer more serums on top of it, so the smell goes away and I do notice a difference in my skin so I do think it's effective. But once this is gone, I don't think I will repurchase.

One of the best affordable Vitamin C serums which is formulated like the pricy stuff. Additionally this serum is more than effective without breaking the bank and always get delivered fresh. Unfortunately, I cannot Use it and that makes me really sad. It took me many months and many different serums to realize vitamin c serums formulated in oil do not work with my skin type. Again this makes me sad because this serum was light on my skin without feeling heavy or sticky. Maybe one day I’ll be able to go back using this amazing Vitamin C serums.

I genuinely thought I was gaslighting myself into believing this was a necessary skincare purchase the first time I used it… but after using it multiple times now, I’m convinced this stuff actually makes an immediate visible difference. The best way I can describe it is that it gives my skin that “freshly washed” look — hydrated, healthy, and fresh — but without making my face oily or greasy. My skin just looks more awake and alive after I put it on in the morning. It’s honestly kind of insane how noticeable the difference is right after application. Not in a dramatic fake-glowy influencer way, either. It just makes my skin look healthier and more refreshed almost instantly. The texture layers nicely into a routine, absorbs well, and doesn’t leave behind that sticky heavy feeling some vitamin C serums can have. This ended up being one of those products where I expected subtle long-term benefits, but instead noticed a visible “wow okay” difference immediately.

Rancid! The worse smell imaginable! Disgusting! This product needs to be refrigerated. I am not sure what happened but I applied the serum to a clean face and it smelled so awful! Not sure what is wrong with this product! Don't use it!

First of all this item is normally 4.0 stars for me. This brand is a European brand and I love their products. The only reason I would knock off a star is because I'd prefer it it came in an airless pump. They usually produce their vitamin C serums weekly to keep it fresh. However, for this particular batch I received I'd give three stars because this one had started oxidizing (had slight yellowish tint, instead of the usual crystal clear colour) and it had a slight smokey burnt smell when it's usually odourless. Will be returning and to be honest will avoid ordering my cosmetics from Amazon from now on. Actual product review: If ordered directly from their website, the serum is fresh and you will be able to use the entire product without it oxidizing. It's usually a clear odourless watery serum which is effective at with keeping the skin smooth, and bright. It's 15% concentration hasn't caused me any irritation but that might be because I have oily resilient skin. I have been using this product am & pm for over 3 years and my skin texture, tone and brightness have improved tremendously. However, buying from Amazon means the risk of the products sitting in the warehouse for too long is high.

Best value for money Vitamin C serum. I’ve repurchased this serum many times before from Amazon and it comes fresh and clear every time. It’s a serum which I’ve found to give brightening and effective results almost immediately and layers well with my other skincare. I have dry skin but I find this product soaks into my skin quickly as it’s very watery and doesn’t irritate my skin. One thing to note is that because Geek & Gorgeous tends to make their products in batches, the serum doesn’t last long. However, if you keep your vitamin c serum in your fridge and take out a small amount each time, then it’s no issue. I’ve got a smaller 5ml bottle which I pipette the serum into and keep refilling as I need from the original bottle. This helps keep the product lasting for awhile. A small price to pay for such a good value product.

Llevo tiempo usando este suero y estoy encantada. La relación calidad/precio es de 10. Es una fórmula muy ligera, casi como agua, que se absorbe enseguida y deja la piel luminosa, más uniforme y con ese efecto “buena cara” que todas buscamos. Hay que guardarla en el frigorífico y, si no me equivoco, dura unos 2 meses. Pero a diferencia de otras marcas más caras (tipo La Roche-Posay), cuando toca tirarla porque se ha oxidado, no duele tanto, porque el precio es mucho más asequible. Y lo mejor: nunca me ha causado irritación ni reacción rara, cosa que sí me ha pasado con otros sueros de vitamina C. Es ideal para pieles sensibles, y que al llevar ácido ferúlico y vitamina E, potencia el efecto antioxidante sin añadir grasa ni pesadez. También ayuda a mejorar el tono desigual y a prevenir el daño ambiental, algo que se nota con el uso constante. Si estás buscando una vitamina C eficaz, bien formulada y que no te vacíe el bolsillo, esta es una opción fantástica. Yo ya la he recomendado a varias amigas y todas han repetido.
