My Most Expensive ScAmazon Purchase
A $360 dollar flashlight shouldn’t be falling apart on its first use. I don’t even see how the knob/button was supposed to be retained, there’s nothing holding it on but an O-ring.

A bright light that can use some tuning.
The light produces a very nice flood beam for walking my dog at night, as well as a slightly dimmer combo beam with the LEP turned on at the same time. My biggest gripe with it is that I usually start my walk at the full 10K lumen setting and find the step down kicking in at less than 200 yards from my house. I addition, even with a fully topped up battery, the step down drops it down to 2,500 lumens instead of a more gradual 7,500 or 5,000 lumens. This forces me to double or triple tap the button to kick it back in to turbo mode (flood only) setting. It would also be much nicer if there were detents in the rotary switch so that I can start my walk in a lower mode and prolong the delay to step down, as wearing gloves reduces any tactile feel even more.

I have numerous Fenix lights. Obviously I'm a happy/return customer, and not a company shill...but not only is the size compact and the flood light extraordinary...but the laser is unbelievable! Yes...expensive. YES...WORTH IT!
