Need a sturdy upright chair? How about a high one? This is the MAWCARE Store Morecombe Orphopaedic High Seat Chair 21 x 21" in Manhattan Dark Brown, made from wood, foam and PU leather. Measures 76.2 x 71.12 x 114cm. Also available in 17 x 18,17 x 21, 19 x 18, 19 x 21 or 21 x 18" and in cream, red or purple. This seat is ideal for my pensioner Dad, as he finds it hard getting up. With it being 21 inches high, he can slide on / off with no problem. Also being upright ensures he is sitting up straight. Overall I'd thoroughly recommend this chair, as there is no price on comfort and care for the elderly.

I purchased this chair for use following my hip replacement. The faux leather chair is sturdy and comfortable. Unfortunately there is a design fault: the loose seat cushion is not held in place by the upholstered back (as in quality chairs and sofas) and I found myself in danger of slipping off the chair when I sat down. As a result I had to substitute a separate cushion with a fabric cover and still have to be exceedingly careful. I can’t risk a broken hip! So beware buying this chair for a disabled person.

This chair has been a god send for my elderly dad who relies on a Zimmer frame for mobility. He can rise from the chair easily and finds it so comfortable. Great purchase and value for money.

Arrived in good condition, but was difficult to get through front door and had to be unpacked outside in the street however the chair was in good condition and it has proved a a very suitable aid to my wife as she broke her leg just before Christmas
