class act
Let me start by saying the Photographs don't do it justice, Great looking watch, Not to big on your wrist sits just nice, One of the nice touches is that the second hand is a continuous movement, also with the face being luminous was a great, Don't think anyone would be disappointed at having this watch on their wrist, One thing you should be aware of it will take up to 3 weeks for it to arrive :-( Mr Mo

nice suprise
Apparently the watch arrived in a nice box, well protected, ready for a present. it was for my boy's birthday and he got suprised. The good think is that it doesnt need batteries. Also it didnt take long to arrive in my mail box. It was a great deal and a great present

Well I've always wanted a Seiko watch and after reading reviews thought this was the one for me. It arrived well packaged and before delivery date in as stated Seiko presentation box and all the usual documentation for a good watch. The bracelet was very poor quality as the edging looked like it has been finished with a disc grinder. My cheap Sekonda watch was a much better buy 26 years ago. Then after a few days it stopped twice overnight. I can only assume that the suppliers think they have genuine Seiko products but after checking other Seiko's in local jewellers this seemed like a fake Seiko, the type bought on the seafront in Tenerife. Sent it back free of charge and hope the suppliers read this before they are flooded with returns.

Great watch at a great price
I've been eyeing up a Seiko 5 for sometime now and this watch is perfect. It came within a week of ordering it (bearing in mind it came straight from the USA complete with tracking details). The product itself came well packaged and I was not charged import tax once the watch arrived. Like other reviews here, the watch came in it's original box with instructions but WITHOUT it's guarantee. I do not believe this is a fake but most likely clearance stock of some kind. There was documentation included from the seller stating that if there is a problem, that they will fix it. Maybe they removed the guarantee to secure future business if the watch ever developed a problem? In a nutshell, the watch gets 5 stars, but the lack of official Seiko guarantee knocks the overall experience down to 3. For the price I paid for the watch however, it's easier and quicker to buy another one!

This watch has been well worth the money. I've worn it for three weeks and it has not lost or gained a minute. I didn't check for seconds +/- but it has been less than 3 seconds +/- per day as the time to the minute is still accurate. the watch is handsome but on the plain side with a look and feel of quality construction and materials. The water proofing withstands a shower but I wouldn't go diving with it anytime soon. The band was easy to adjust for my wrist size (if you can't adjust it yourself, grow up and learn how to be a man). The Seiko 5 movement and simple styling can't be beat at under $100. My only complaints are it is hard to see the hour markers under some lighting conditions (due to the black face and silver markers lacking contrast) and the luminous markers need serious light to glow brightly (but when they glow, they can be bright as hell). Note: If you are looking for a flashy, over-sized piece of jewelry to impress your bros at the club, this is not for you. If you are looking for a well built automatic wind time piece with classic (if slightly plain) styling then this IS for you. I'll see how this watch is doing in five years and if I'm not dead yet I'll update this review.

I just want to add my own comment in regards to this Seiko 5 Automatic watch, since I have read many of these already posted reviews and since some buyers commented too in regards to this product.. The Seiko watches are great watches for the money. Design, Craftsman-ship, Polish, Finish, Dial, Hands, Mechanism itself, Accuracy.. I had over the years many high-in watches including up to Rolex DayJust, Breitling, 3 x Omegas, 3 x Balls, Rado, 3 x Tissots, many many others too, all having ETA movements.. However, I was not happy with the amount of money that I have spent for all these "Timepieces", since NONE of them had been right on the dot, or perfect accurate in any shape or form, with the exception of Ball watches as being much better than many of these VERY expensive watches out there including Vacheron Constantin, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Piaget, Roger Dubuis, Frank Muller, Panarai, etc, as well as some of these having "Tourbillion" movements too.. I never understood why in the world anyone would buy any of these extremely expensive watches anyway, since these items are incredible way overpriced, or up to $500K+ depends on how complicate they are.. However, that is somehow normal from any mechanical watch since the performance rely on temperature of your body and the weather over all. I use to fix watches for over 15 years and I can tell that this Seiko watch it is by far under-priced for a mechanical watch. The only down size of this particular Seiko mechanism is that it will not wind by hand if you will use the crown, vs all other ETA mechanism that I upper mentioned.. So you will have to either wear it every day, or keep it in the winder. It is perfectly fine with me this "inconvenience", since I do have a winder.. I strongly recommend to anyone out there to buy one winder if you don't have one, and you like to switch your watches by time to time.. All I can tell you is that, DON'T make the same "mistake " like I did myself and buy ANY of these high-in brand names.. It is not worth it, since this Seiko watch it is spot on compared with any of these upper mentioned, unless your life truly "needs" any Rolex type of product, and you need to make anyone aware of that life style kind of level.. I actually went and sold many of my high-in watch collection since I had some amount of money invested that it did not fit my lifestyle anymore.. Believe me, you would not be satisfied after you will see your brand new Rolex, or either Breitling be anywhere near accurate while you already spent over $6700+.. And, don't believe any of the "BS" that these sales people will throw you such as your Rolex "will" go up in value, unless you have a rare piece and maybe a limited edition and/or very old version.. Seiko watches, does the same thing, and matter of fact it is almost similar as far as bezel type with the DayJust Rolex version 36mm vs Seiko 37 mm.. Don't worry about Sapphire Crystal, since you can't make any difference anyway.. I truly believe that this Seiko watches deserve more credit, so take advantage of this lower price for the pretty much "same" mechanical automatic watch, having also an elegant appearance and beautiful set up too.. I recently bought another one in brown dial color.. I also would like to tell anyone interested into a brown color, is that unless you like the brown dial, then do not get it since it is a little hard to read the time.. White color or black it is fine.. On the other hand, if you truly want accuracy, then buy a Casio watch for $19.99, or a Casio Atomic watch for around $85+... Well, enjoy it I guess..

Bello, tradizionale,robusto e preciso, ritengo che sia il buon compromesso per indossarlo tutti i giorni. Il prezzo mi pare appropriato
