Exactly as expected. The colors are as they appear on the Amazon listing. There is no odor which is why I bought this brand. I have purchased another brand on Amazon, and the rubber smell was so strong, I sent it back because I could not use it. As far as this product, everything seems to be spelled correctly on this mat and is correct according to the American Mah Jongg rules. The mat arrived rolled up on a sturdy cardboard roll and was inside the black carrying bag. Easy to store and transport. So far very happy with this purchase especially for the price and quality. Can not speak to durability, but with proper care it should last for years. So much of Mahj playing pieces are expensive. Very happy to find an economical solution at Amazon and quality product by bestcool. I am a beginner and this is exactly what I need right now. I recommend this product.
