If you tried Civivi before, you'll know what to expect. Came razor sharp out of the box, perfectly smooth deployment with drop shut close, extremely sturdy with zero blade play in any direction, excellent fit and finish all around, best button locks from any brand out there, and perfect jimping everywhere that is needed. Whatever this Damascus blend is, it holds an edge a little better than nitro v/14c28n but not quite as good as D2. Cuts and sharpens smooth due to inner core steel is a solid piece. It is genuine layered steel for the pattern, not laser etched or painted. Compared to other Civivi, this one is a little larger and heavier for being aluminum, and the detent is a little stronger (cant quite flick it open with middle finger, but perfect for flipper/thumb)

This is my first CIVIVI knife, but it won't be my last. This is a beautiful piece of workmanship. Just the right size and weight for EDC. Action is smooth but takes a bit of getting used to learning the close. Well worth the price.

This is an almost perfect budget folding pocket knife. To be honest, the only reason I docked a star is because of the button it does tend to stick somewhat. It makes it hard to actuate at times. I find that if I use the thumb studs to deploy the knife it seems to lock up More tightly and requires more force to actuate the push button to release it. Other than that I absolutely love this knife. It was extremely sharp out of the box. It has a nice hollow grind, which is harder to find these days than would think. The knife feels absolutely wonderful in the hand. The economics at least for me or practically perfect. The aluminum handle feels great and the knife is well balanced and not heavy. now as a purely aesthetic critique I’m not a big fan of all the holes, but in the handle but that’s not a deal breaker. Deployment is easy and smooth. Using the flipper or the thumb studs is equally easy they seem to really dial in the deployment. I find using either works very well and haven’t had any failures. The lock up is strong for a butt lock and should be fine for anyone who isn’t out there abusing their knife For most day-to-day tasks. This knife will perform wonderfully.

This Civivi knife is excellent quality. One of the best out of the WE factory. Solid build with excellent ergonomics.

Boyfriend loves this knife. It is super sharp so be careful. It is also easy to open with a press of a button. My boyfriend breaks knifes a lot due to his job and he has had it 4 months and it’s still going strong. Very light weight.

Fantastic knife!! One of the best new Civivi releases for 2025. Improvement over the older Altus design since this one has a finger flipper tab but the Altus does not.

Incredibly well made knife. Excellent fit and finish. Amazing action and the perfect detent for deployment as well drop shutting the blade. The tactile feedback is absolute joy. Acoustics emitting from the action on the aluminum scales are a plus. Unbelievable beautiful swedge and the hollow grind on the blade.
