This is a great long-wearing stain. I like to wear a lip balm during the day but also want color, and this solves my problem. I got "62 blushed mauve" and it lasts through breakfast, lunch and a work day. It goes on like a marker and I blend just a bit before it dries. This shade is a youthful, natural lip color and isn't severe looking. Once it dries in place, it does NOT make your lips dry. You actually forget it is there. I apply a gloss or balm throughout the day like I always do and it feels nice. The color might fade a little as the day goes on, but nothing spotty or crackle-y. Lips remain smooth looking. I'm reordering!

This lip liner applies smoothly, blends easily, and stays in place for hours without feathering. The color is beautiful and pairs well with many lipsticks and glosses. It’s an affordable product that performs just as well as many higher-end lip liners.

Review is for Color: 20 Admire Lip stains are my favorite lip product these days, but I am particular about them. I don’t like the types that use a wand and then we dip it into liquid. Since Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is like a marker, I was excited for it. I like using this as my lip liner since it goes well with PH lipsticks by Magic Kiss and MoodMatcher. I don’t see myself using the CG lipstain alone since it’s semi drying and can be patchy. I only have one color so I don’t know if every shade is patchy. To be clear, the lipstain doesn’t cause my lips to be dry. It’s just not moisturizing the lips. Depending on the baseline of your natural lips the experience will be different for everyone. I think CG lipstains are best used with a gloss, topper, or another lipstick to fill in my lips. I apply the lipstain on dry, clean lips. I allow it to fully dry before applying something over it. It's a matte finish. However, nothing is transferproof on my lips including this product since I snack/eat often throughout the day. Transfer is minimal and it doesn’t get messy compared to traditional lipstick. It’s probably long lasting and smudge-proof if you fast. Pigmentation was good. Better than r.e.m. beauty’s lip stain marker. It has a light fruity smell. Almost cotton candy at times. Non-offensive. Not overpowering. I did not notice any bitter taste in my mouth. Made in the USA with imported parts. I really have no complaints about this product besides the color is wrong for me. I chose Admire (20) because I thought it was a lightish pinky mauve. Instead, it’s a dark mauve color like 90’s grunge. A plum shade. Keep in mind I am light-skinned with yellow undertone. It would look different on a deeper skin tone. The swatches/doodling I did on my hand looks lighter than on my lips. It was quite difficult to capture the color accurately in my photos. Hopefully my review is still helpful. I want to order more colors so I’ll update my review in the future. Would I recommend this lippie? It’s definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you want out of it or expect from it. I have buck teeth and traditional (waxy/creamy) lipsticks always get stuck on my teeth so I find lipstains/PH lipsticks work the best for my type of mouth. My options are kind of limited.

I am an OG cover girl lipstain lover and I was so sad when they discontinued it, but was just as happy when I saw they were making a comeback! The OG color I used was similar to this one, and I so badly wanted this to work out- The color is really nice and a perfect tint of pink especially with us girlies who have hyperpigmented lips. However, the color payoff was not as intense and after a few weeks of using, it got less intense and its starting to dry out! I’ve tried one of their other colors and didn’t have this issue, so I’m not sure if this was a fluke. Overall, wish the colors were a bit more pronounced!

This is that perfect berry color on all the “filled” lips you see everywhere with a pop of gloss on top. Love it. It’s close to my lip shade so I even use it to give the illusion of a fuller upper lip. Lasts abt 6 hrs with normal eating/drinking lots of water

I have been using this lipstain for a couple years . I like color Sugey Girl because it’s a healthy looking color. I’ve had to learn how to work with this and main thing is to put it on without having any makeup on or close to lip line. I wipe it clear of any concealer/moisturizer/powder-down to dry lips. I apply onto lips the way I like it to look and let it dry -wait for 5 minutes to put anything on top to set stain. I put a gloss in middle of lips avoiding the outline -this sets color. Greasier foods will remove stain. Lips are exposed to oils acids from saliva and foods so wear time on lips is shorter than on back of hand.

This is not a true lip stain. It does last longer than a cream lip stick. It doesn’t last all day, it maybe last 2 hours. It’s is sticky when applied but dries in about 5 minutes. It doesn’t last apply easy. However a regular lip line applies just as easy and last just as long, if not longer.

I love this color. I bought admire. It lasts allday. But im mad because it came dried out. It didnt go on smoothly like the other color I bought. I purchased a different color and it worked fine. Its non sticky and you need to rub very hard to get it off. Just this color. Im going to see if I can exchange it. The color is very pretty though. A little dark, but more natural looking.

Genuinelllllly obsessed with this lip liner! It lasts all day. I slightly over line my lips and use quite literally any gloss or oil and this liner just stays. It does slightly fade but only into the most naturally looking pouty lip. I have had people ask me if I got a lip blush done wearing this! I use the colour Braizen Raisin and I looove it but I do want to try other colours too! I’m hooked now.
