Unfortunately no.The PS5 uses a PCIe Gen 4 M.2 NVMe SSD. I would suggest doing some research because the PS5 only takes very specific drives.

However, the Lexar® Professional NM800PRO with Heatsink M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD does and is also compatible with PS5. I have an X99 motherboard and it uses 4-lane PCIe bus for m.2 ; Is this SSD compatible with a Gen 3 interface?

True 7+ GB/s NVME

Was a bit skeptical as my first Lexar drive but so far (1 month) it works great. On Aorus B550i motherboard it does consistent 7200+ mb/s reads and writes are close to the marketing claims. As for reliability, nothing to note as of yet. Would buy again for price.

Blazing quick

Been using it for the past 2 weeks, no issues with it, tested it with crystal disk mark software and the speeds were blazing quick, among the fastest we can get with gen 4 nvmes. I got 2 of them during amazon prime day for around $50 usd each for 1TB drives and it was an absolute steal :)
