APC Surge Protector Bundle: 2630 Joule 8 Outlet & 2160 Joule 12 Outlet Power Strips

I've had this exact model of surge protector from APC, including many variants of it, for the past ten years. Each of version of it served its purpose: to protect against surges, which—admittedly—are rare. The layout of the outlets has worked well for every device I've needed to plug into it behind the desk in my home office. It's a good size, and doesn't take up too much space. The length of the cord allows me to place my desk anywhere in my small office space without fear of being too far from an outlet. (We live in a pre-war apartment where there aren't many outlets per room.)My only gripe with it is the USB charging ports. I usually charge an iPad at my desk, or my Pixel Buds/AirPods, or my phone. (I have a Google Pixel 7.) I cannot for the life of me get this surge protector to charge two devices at once. It works perfectly fine if I plug in one device, but not two. (And I've tried all combinations of charging devices using this surge protector.)Overall, I like to think this is a good model of surge protector, and a good value for the money, but I would have liked the internal wiring to be rigged so that more voltage could be supplied to the USB charging ports.

Worked great for awhile but then the two USB ports stopped working entirely. The other plugs still work so not sure why it was just these two ports that failed.
