The magnetic backing is strong, so the case will stay put, which is great when adjusting viewing angles. The two stand positions are perfect for my needs: the upright position for when I'm watching shows, and the lower angle when sketching. I also like that the pencil holder keeps my Apple Pencil secure while it charges. While the case provides really great corner protection (where I've damaged tablets before), it doesn't add too much bulk at all.

As advertised! Good value and quality

For me ESR started as one of those unknown companies making cheap crap accessories to sell on Amazon. I started out apprehensively buying a set of glass screen protectors for my phone. They were cheap but well designed, functional, and came with a nice guide plate for application. I still don’t know much about ESR honestly but I’m no longer apprehensive about buying their products and 99% of the time I’ve been more than happy with my purchase. I’ve bought phone cases, screen protectors for phones and tablets, magnetic phone mounts and wireless chargers, and now this case for my iPad. What I really like about it is that it utilizes the magnets on the back of the iPad to make installing and removing the iPad from the case really quick and easy. It holds it secure when I need it to, the stand works well, and when I get it home and want to put my iPad on a wall mount near my bed, it’s easy to do. Besides the apple keyboard cases, I haven’t seen many other cases do this. It is not going to be the most protective case, I mean it is held in by magnets so if you’re one of those people that drop their expensive tech, then this probably isn’t for you. It will protect it in your bag and from minor bumps or falls and it will function as a good tablet stand for sketching or watching videos but this case isn’t meant for big drops. If there was one thing I would improve on for the case it would be to make a small pull tab on the latch piece that’s meant to wrap around your Apple Pencil, which by the way works great for holding it. The issue is when you’re trying to grab that flap to open it, it can be hard to get your fingers under it to nicely pull it open. Very minor gripe but I’d appreciate that on any revision or future version. Not much else to say. I’m starting to see ESR as a trusted brand considering my success with their products. This case is affordable, functional, looks nice, has features you don’t see on many other cases, and as long as you know what kind of protection you’re getting here, I can’t imagine many having issues with.

I am using this case with a 2018 iPad Pro. It's a good quality case that does has does certain things well and could be better in other areas. Whether this case is for you depends on how you use it. If you primarily use it flat by opening the case and folding it back on itself, this is great. But if you want to use it standing up, you will get mixed results. Pros: - magnets are strong enough to attach to the case with no problems - flap gives an extra layer to hold the case closed (even without flap, it stays closed just fine) - I don't have an apple pencil, but it would fit well there (I tried with a regular pencil) with the flap keeping it in place - sleep/wake feature works well with cover Cons - I find myself opening the back/detaching the case from the ipad instead of the front of the case because I want to pull on the flap to open the case - there stand is not very stable on the low setting. I'd say it stays up 75% of the time and falls down the other times. It also doesn't stay in place very securely. - the tall setting is worse - I suspect it's not meant to stand the ipad up in the taller angle as I couldn't get it to stay

This case is the best of all worlds and features all of my preferences. 1. No visible branding. The case is a solid color and there is no obnoxious logo. It looks clean and professional. 2. Feel. It feels premium to the touch. A pleasure to handle. Sturdy and soft. 3. Bare iPad edges. This case does not cover the edges of my iPad with cheap plastic, so I can enjoy touching and holding the cold aluminum the way Apple intended. This makes the experience of using the case much more premium. 4. Stand is sturdy and holds my iPad well. Much better than the ESR trifold case I had before. 5. Clasp for Apple pencil. Amazing feature. I can’t go without it. Brilliant solution. 6. The cover locks onto the back magnetically so even when my iPad is in use, it is one solid item. No cover sliding and slipping around behind the screen when I’m handling my iPad. 7. The case covers just a bit more area than the iPad, so it sticks out creating a bezel. Just enough so that when I place the iPad down vertically, the actual iPad doesn’t hit the surface, it just sits on the bezel. Amazing feature. Even though the iPad is exposed to the touch, it’s so safe. All in all, outstanding case. The iPad mini version is also outstanding. The only flaw is that the fabrid on the inside cover comes in contact with the surface I put the iPad on. Not the cleanest or most sanitary function. I’ve been working around this by putting paper towel or some other clean material between my Ipad and the surface it’s on.

Just got this today and I am very pleased with the quality of this cover. The magnetic is very strong, the tablet stays firmly in place and the cover doesn't accidentally open up until you actually try to open it. I thought the tab might have been annoying, but it gets out of the way very easily as it attaches to the back of the cover and gives a good area to grip. Not to mention it holds the pen firmly in place so you're not bound to accidentally knock it off or lose it during transportation. White color costed a little extra, but it looks very nice and goes will the silver color of my ipad pro 11. Unlike other soft magnetic covers, the inner side uses a soft yet smooth material that doesn't pick up dirt, grease, etc that other covers do which means it won't get disgusting over time after normal use. I've had to throw away a lot of covers including the official apple smart cover because of how easily it absorbs filth.

The ESR iPad case is honestly amazing. I have the forest green color and it looks amazing. The quality of the case seems to be really good. I love the soft, buttery-smooth texture of the case. The magnetic part that attaches to my iPad and the clasp to close the iPad seem to be very secure from what I’ve tested. Also, the company (Minghutech-US) reached out even before I ever received the product to ensure I had a good experience and knew all of their policy/coverage/etc. I thought that was really neat and nice of them. All in all, I would recommend this if you’re needing a nice, simple iPad case — just be cautious as it doesn’t completely cover all of the edges.

In my decade+ of amazon use, I’ve hardly left any reviews but I thought this case for my new iPad is really well made and perfect for the price so it deserved a review. I just got a new iPad Pro 11 inch (2021). I wanted a simple, well made folio case that wasn’t going to cost me $80, or wasn’t made with a hard plastic back. Amazon was the last place I looked because so many cheap things I’ve bought over the years always end up in the garbage, and I hate creating waste like that, but this case really was a great deal for the quality. The front has the folio design, which when folded back works really well and is sturdy for standing up my iPad. The magnets on the entire thing are durable and work well. I like that the closing flap has space for my Apple pen, and it also clasps backwards to be out of the way. The back is a solid surface of the same material, can add stickers or whatever else you like to it. It does add a tiny bit of weight to my iPad, although that’s expected for any case... still lighter than dragging my laptop around. Overall, I’m very happy with it and I’d definitely recommend this case!

Ich habe diese ESR-Hülle bereits im Jahr 2021 gekauft und sie ist seitdem täglich im Gebrauch. Nach über fünf Jahren Nutzung kann ich nur sagen: Ich bin absolut beeindruckt von der Qualität. Warum ich diese Hülle empfehle: Enorme Langlebigkeit: Trotz der langen Zeit hat die Hülle keinerlei Schäden. Die Kanten sind noch intakt und das Material sieht immer noch sehr gut aus. Starke Magnete: Die magnetische Befestigung am iPad Pro ist sehr sicher. Das Tablet verrutscht nicht, lässt sich aber bei Bedarf leicht abnehmen. Perfekte Standfunktion: Der Trifold-Ständer ist nach wie vor stabil und klappt nicht zusammen, egal ob beim Tippen oder beim Anschauen von Videos. Pencil-Kompatibilität: Das Laden und Koppeln des Apple Pencil 2 funktioniert einwandfrei durch die Aussparung. Zuverlässige Sleep/Wake-Funktion: Das automatische Ruhen und Wecken reagiert auch nach Jahren noch jedes Mal sofort. Fazit: Dass eine Hülle in dieser Preisklasse nach so vielen Jahren noch wie am ersten Tag funktioniert, ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wer einen zuverlässigen, schlanken und langlebigen Schutz für sein iPad sucht, wird hier nicht enttäuscht. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

One of the better cases out there

Nice quality. Well made, nice way to hold your pen, but also works well for the moments you don't have your pen with you. The only minor negative (with all of these models) Is that It doesn't stand very sturdy when you use It on bed, It falls over easily unless It's a solid surface. Also you have no way to control the angle of the stand. Other covers offer this by using the whole back to set the angle and create a more solid surface which works well, even in bed. But that's something I chose for, so just for consideration purposes for whoever who's reading this.

The packaging is great designed, the case works just as expected, no hustle to adjust. The case also gives a little bit of protection to back camera, not a huge bump but good balance between giving the camera protection and make the back of iPad case being flat for better writing experience. Strongly recommended!
