My chickens love this treat! They come running whenever the bag gets shaken. A few handfuls a day also help our hens lay eggs through the winter. This size bag lasts us almost a month with 20+ chickens in our flock.

Being brand new to farming I have to say that getting the chickens in their coup for the night seemed to be a struggle as I would always have that one or two that didn't want to go in. So I saw this online and thought what the heck give it a try. The first time I used this product and the "ladies" came rushing at me so fast that a small part of me wanted to scream and kick, but I didn't! Well.. Our ladies LOVE this so much that if I pick up the bag and shake it they come tearing around the house or fly out from the bushes just to get to me fast. Then as they wait for me to toss these tasty morsels they stare me down making me realize if I ever run out I might have a situation on my hands. I use them as a bedtime snack to make sure to get them all in the coup for the night. It took a couple nights with me telling them that the last one in is a rotten egg before they started to get the hang of it and now I rarely have issues getting them all in. Love love LOVE this product ❤ my chickens thank you too. 😊

Not sure why, but my chickens would have nothing to do with this. If there was a return option I would send it back. They love fly larvae but not this brand. Won’t buy again.
